Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Dallas

Well, let's start with Kevin, the cashier, the line person he was everything. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought he was the manager. Kevin was the best part of this visit today. I love the salad it was fresh, and the bar was clean as always. The restrooms were clean, and that's always a plus anywhere. Now, for negative, I ordered a special pizza. The toppings were great, but the crust was a doughy mess. So the pizza I was waiting on was a disaster. But old faithful always comes thru the cinnamon rolls. They were hot and easy to peel apart, delicious. I had about 8 of them. Keep up the good work. Try to cook the special pizza all the way done. Thanks for always keeping the restrooms clean. I don't have anything truly bad to say about this place, but these few things Don't make any doughy pizza The real manager needs to show himself as kind. The cooks/servers on the line need to be kind/respectful to the customers (yes, I saw a lot of negative responses to other customers) It's always right to be polite to someone who is being polite towards you. We went in as a group to celebrate a birthday party. some paid individual, some didn't eat and some were paid in a group. I was trying to order a pizza but NO spoke English and couldn't understand. They even as a Spanish speaking customer to translate. The manager came to our table and counted ever black customer in the building. I asked him are we good he said we didn't pay for two people. I mentioned to him that every person was paid for. We paid for the ones thatcame late and you wasn't in the front. Then he told his staff to watch us (in Spanish). I mentioned to her that I heard what he said and that's not right. Then a staff member ask me was I good and I mentioned to her No. Then the manager came back and said it's ok. Evertime one of the black customers get pizza the manager run by the pizza and watch. This was so uncomfortable and ridiculous to the fact that you can't go out and enjoy yourself without being handed picked as lying about paying for everyone. This is a All Mexican staff. They don't accept cooperate coupons and don't honor the 3.99 Monday through Wednesday buffet deals. Don't have a good variety of pizza on the line so most everyone was ordering personal pans. Salad bar was awful! The carrots were slimy the cucumbers we sliced so thin and horrible they were falling apart you couldn't even pick them up with the tongs and had more slime than the carrots. The chicken noodle soup is usually my go to if nothing else and I made 4 bowls and stirred the pot each time NO CHICKEN! Bathrooms were dirty. Expected with everything else going wrong. Want to shout out to the nice Mexican lady cleaning the tables though she was amazing and cleaning up everything herself even empting trash while other employees stood around like they didn't know what to do. Manager acted like he cared but didn't do anything to make anything right. All for show.
