Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Dallas

This location used to be good, but too many times now I've gotten REALLY OLD, AND OVERPRICED food. Today, I bought 20 tenders for around $45...pricey, but if cooked properly, I can justify an occasional purchase.

The first red flag is that I got these tenders IMMEDIATELY...didn't even have to pull over to wait(I would gladly do so for FRESH food). Secondly, the tenders were SO FREAKING SMALL, it's as if they purposely cut up each one in half to make it look like I got what I ordered. As I type this, EVERY single tender had a TINY amount of meat, surrounded by a very hard, old/heat lamp mess crunch, not the flaky crunch you get when it's fried correctly.

Either it's been re-fried, sat under the heat lamp too long, or is just old...which is ridiculous especially at this price. This location is burned me too many times, and I kept getting it chances since it's close to where I live, but not anymore. I can't keep getting these lazy people my hard earned money for BADLY prepped food.

There's NO ONE is line either btw, as most chicken goers in that area always wait in the LONG line at the Raising Canes right next to it. Popeyes, when fresh, is way better than Canes, but at this location, most of the time it's NOT fresh. And Canes at least offers fresh tenders(mediocre imo), and it's carried by it's really good dipping sauce.

If I'm in the area, I'll wait in the long line at Canes instead. Popeyes in general has to do a better job. This is at least the 3rd location I have to avoid going to, and I love fried chicken. Especially with Canes next to it kicking their butts, WHY would they screw over customers like me who kept giving them chance after chance?...

Let me start off by saying I spent my hard earned money which was a little over $40 and I expected to receive food that was appropriate. Instead There is no organization. Long lines Nothing complementary for customers. The cashier had an attitude. Not nice at all. (Young man) No smile, no knowledge of any of the dishes. 🤦🏾‍♀️ absolute rubbish he looked miserable to be working there! The food is not made fresh. Instead it's left out for hours (evident by appearance) Fast food joint and it's not even cheap or affordable. And they have the audacity to serve the community with attitudes and old food and this is a multi million dollar company wow Popeyes! All I want them to do before they serve old cold food is put their selves in the customers position and consider that they are paying for this food and I want to know honestly what would they want to receive as paying customers, old food or fresh food? (Put yourself in my position how would you want your food?) Not to mention the number listed is not in service so if you try to call and complain about ANY of their services, you will not get through....

We waited 25 minutes in the drive through, and these morons gave us wings in a small bag turned upside with the container OPEN and they weren't even the right flavor!!! We ordered the Signature Hot wings and recieved something that tasted like sweet and sour Chinese food 🤢🤢 we didn't get the buttermilk ranch that supposedly comes with the wings. Not that it would have helped the flavor. The fries just shoved in the bottom of the bag, the sauce of the sandwich was everywhere..whatever fine it's sauce, BUT THE PICKLES WERE IN THE BOTTOM OF THE SANDWICH BAG. I don't have a picture of that because it was the first thing I noticed and just fixed it, but then I noticed everything else and this was just the worst Popeyes I've ever been to. Can't understand what the people are saying through the speakers and the lady at the window didn't even say a word to us other than 'Here' 0/10 recommend and will not be going back to this location. Managers need to pay attention to what goes out the window. Honestly it's common sense that the hot wings don't go vertical, it has liquid in it. Hello, did y'all pass...
