Anthony (I think heâs the manager) at this location did not make the 1st time experience welcoming whatâs so ever. Iâve never been to an actual James Avery store until June 7th, so I wasnât aware of the no recording policy. Once Anthony made me aware that Iâm not able to record, I turned off my video. I walked in and started to FaceTime my friend seeing as she works for James Avery (Dillards) and wanted to see what a real store looked like. As Iâm calling her, Anthony walks up behind me and just stands there, not saying anything just staring at me. I look at him annoyed after he stands there for a while b/c heâs staring at me and saying nothing. After I stare back at him and turn back to looking in the case, he walks off back behind the counter. Moments later, Jacquelin walks up to me and greets me how Anthony shouldâve instead of staring at me. I tell her that Iâm fine and donât need any help (b/c I was still deciding on what I wanted). Anthony goes to the back and stays there until someone else walks in. I eventually tell Jacqueline what I want and get ready to check out. This was my first time in an actual store, so I wasnât aware that you had to schedule a pick up time/day. So, I tell Jacqueline to just bag everything up and I will get them put on back home b/c I wasnât originally from Texas and I was leaving out today (June 7th). She bags everything up after I turned down Anthonyâs attempts to schedule different times with me for pick up. Jacqueline was awesome! but, Anthony was unpleasant, unwelcoming, rude, and made me uncomfortable. I donât recommend anyone go to this location. Go anywhere...

Last week I walked in for a pick up, 4 sales rep were at the back of the register looking at something on a tablet, slightly glanced at me and turned away/ gave me their back. I get to the register and im still not being acknowledged. Finally someone asks what I need in a bothered tone. Once I proceed to say im there for a pick up, the girl directed me to another one like âoh she will help you.â They should be greeting and pretending at least like they are what their job titles are.
