Carolina and Co. — Local services in Dallas

After many many many lash and hair appointments at this salon, I am so disappointed that I will no longer be attending here due to the salon owner, “Carolina Cervera” and hairstylist, “Deysi Peralta”. Both have handled my situation very poorly and in an unprofessional manner.

I booked a solid color and cut with Deysi and was told at my appointment that she “only has 2.5 hours, she has someone right after me and she does not have enough time” to perform this on my hair. I had the feeling that she did not want to do my hair this day for whatever reason. No services were performed. I contacted Deysi regarding my deposit and she read my message but failed to reply.

I decided to reach out to the owner, Carolina who contacted me by phone who said this is considered a cancellation appointment, this should have been scheduled as a color correction and my deposit cannot be refunded. Did not even bother to hear my version of my experience. She was persistent in not giving me my money back.

My lack of knowledge of the hair color process should not be the reason why my refund was denied. As an employer in the customer service industry, you treat everyone how you would like to be treated. I believe if you put good out in this world, it returns to you tenfold. There are just some people who are not considerate of these financially hard times and only in it for the money, Carolina being one of them.

Deysi and Carolina could have approached this entirely differently. Their attitudes do not fit their field of work that they are in. I hope this review serves as to what type of person your money...

LOVE Carolina and this salon! I have been going here for about 2 years and have recruited my whole family and lots of friends.... Carolina is awesome! We love Stephanie too! I will say I have always hated to sit still and spend hours in a chair getting my hair done (color, highlights, cut, blowout) - but Carolina and the environment make it easy! She is always on time, she is professional and extremely friendly, and I know when I leave there - I get exactly what I asked for....and more. Her color skills are awesome and she knows what is best for my hair and makes great recommendations. She always makes sure I love it each time!

Check out her monthly specials. I love going in for color touch-ups and blow outs when I am in between full treatments. I also started using the Kevin Murphy products as well.

It's hard to find - the first time - but once you do - you won't want to go anywhere else. Go see her.

I don't receive services exclusively from Stephanie but she is my preferred go-to. My one stop shop. She's done cuts, color, highlights, lowlights; lip and eyebrow waxes, and mani-pedis for me. I especially take advantage of the specials communicated via email and social media. At any rate, I can go to Stephanie and tell her what I want. If I don't know what I want, she gives me what I didn't know I wanted. I am not one of those people with vision, in any sense of the word. But I like something when I see it and I can appreciate those that do have vision. I appreciate Stephanie for her vision and for making me look and feel like a million bucks.
