So, I called in an order to pick up food for dinner. I was told over the phone by someone who barely speaks English that my order would be ready in 20 minutes. I asked how much was my order and he told me 34.00. I get there after the 20 minutes that he told me and my food still wasn’t ready. I proceed to pay for it and was told the food was 43.00. I asked why was the food 43, when the person who took my order said 34? The ball headed man at register says sorry, computer was down when I asked can the price of 34 be honored since that’s what I was originally told. So, my question is if your computer was down how were you accepting payments? My order wasn’t as I asked, my extra beans were missing, my avocado wasn’t in my bag as well and then they had the nerve to try to charge me for it when I initially asked for it when I called in the order. I asked for crunchy beef tacos and looked at the actual taco shells and they looked like they just threw the shells in the container because they were broken and cracked up. I told the man (maybe a manager) that I did not want those broke shells. He took the plate and brought it back with the new shells looking worse than the first set I was given which I think they did that on purpose. And let me not forget the other time I called in my food order and the woman answering the phone had a WHOLE attitude! I asked her do you have an attitude??? Then her total attitude and demeanor changed….The purpose of this post is to say as a paying customer at any business there are things that are expected when you pay your hard earned dollars. And the top thing that you expect is good quality customer service. One more thing…the Mexican cokes have shrunk in size but the price remains the same or higher. So, they give you less product but still charge you the same...
Read moreCame here early Sunday morning with my Dad at 9am. Our waitress was horrible! Very rude, not attentive, mocking and racist. I asked for salsa y chips and she told us there was none since they just opened. My coffee was luke warm and asked for a new one which took like 20 minutes. I ordered the nachos with fajitas (my favorite) and she said there was no nacho cheese since they just opened. My Dad asked for a refill of Dr Pepper like 3x's and she yelled at him and told him I heard you! My Dad is not the one to bite his tongue lol. I then ordered the carrne assada and so did my Dad and she told us no si comi carrne assada con eggs. I told lady who is the customer and who is paying? If we want eggs we will order eggs! She then got upset because I didn't know how to pronounce over easy eggs in Spanish. She got upset again when I told the waitress we didn't receive flour and corn tortillas. When she brought our remaining tortillas she told me you don't eat carrne assada with rice, beans and eggs. I'm a Christian and treat everyone with kindness and respect. Once again lady mind your business while me and my Dad enjoy our breakfast on this beautiful Sunday morning! Please stop with your rude comments and negative energy! If you hate your job so much and hate attending paying customers then quit! It's people like her that will make a business fail because of her rude attitude towards the world and American citizens who speak English and not so fluent Spanish. I informed the waitress I've met the owner before and she's lovely and welcoming to any guests at her restaurant and your the...
Read moreMy brother and I just happened to find this place by chance one morning, and truly what a blessing it was to have ate here. Every aspect of our experience was 5 stars.
The staff is so friendly and professional. They frequently stop to cater to your every need. The food was unbelievably delicious and tasted fresh and so flavorful.
I ordered the menudo with 2 carne asada gorditas. The mundo was easily the tastiest I've had in a long time. And they give you a very generous portion of it, considering that most other places give much smaller portions. The gordita was so delicious I devoured it in 4 bites. My brother had a carne asada torta and some nachos, which he reduced to crumbs in no time at all.
From the outside, this little restaurant seems pretty unremarkable, but once you step inside it's a great experience. I also paid much less for the food than I anticipated. My check came out to $30 for all the food I mentioned above, plus drinks. I have to force myself to end the review here, as I can't say enough great things about this place.
Most blessings in life come to us unexpectedly. Though, if you want to bless yourself, give this place a try, you will...
