Voy a decirlo sin rodeos: los que dejan malas reseñas de este lugar deben tener las papilas gustativas descompuestas. ¡Fito’s Tacos de Trompo es justo lo que uno espera (y quiere) de un lugar en Harry Hines! Comida deliciosa, gente amable y precios que no te dejan en bancarrota.

Primero, el servicio. Los trabajadores aquí son pura buena onda. Te atienden con ganas, te explican lo que necesites y no te andan viendo feo como en otros lados. ¿Esperabas meseros con guantes blancos y un menú de cinco páginas? Mi rey, este no es ese tipo de lugar. Aquí se viene a comer rico, rápido y barato.

Ahora, lo importante: la comida. 🌮 Los tacos de trompo están perfectos—jugosos, con ese doradito en las orillas que te hace cerrar los ojos de puro gusto.

It has Trompo in the name... We came for a very late dinner (they are open until 2am certain days). I told the lady I wanted 3 Trompo tacos and she says "25 tacos?" I was like "no, 3 tacos..." she seemed very confused. Then my bf ordered his Trompo tacos. Our brother and sister ordered fajita steak tacos. (also they do not have rice or refried beans) They brought out ALL fajita steak tacos. When bf complained, the lady acted completely confused as if she didn't know what Trompo was... the manager had to come out and translate. Trompo is a spanish word and the name of the restaurant. We were so weirded out by the miscommunication. We finally get the Trompo tacos and they were not good. The meat was so dry and lacking in flavor, I didn't even want to eat it. There are about 9 other taco places in the area....

Yeah...I hate to say it but Me and my nephew were not impressed with this taqueria. We eat at and try many around town. This one first of all was super expensive! We had 4 tacos each - he had 4 special trompo tacos and I had for regular tacos and he had a drink and it cost us $27!!? Ive NEVER been to such an average taqueria that was SO expensive..when asked about this the cashier just rambled something about how expensive meet was blah blah blah.
