A deep dive into Flaming Buffet

This buffet was good. Had a variety of food. My favorite things that I eat were abundant. Food was also cooked fresh. You could see them replenishing the trays as we ate. It's kinda noisy but that's expected because of the kids. My daughter three a tantrum so I understand how the adults would feel about the noisy kiddos but hey! they are the spice of life, aren't they? To be honest, I was shocked at the price, $10.99 per adult? My My My, speak of affordable but eat-till-you-drop. This is a very family oriented place so there's no alcohol. For the price point and quality of food, I think it deserves a kudos. For the family, it's a great place to eat all you can. I didn't try the desserts this time, but I'll definitely try it whenever we go next. If you are looking for budget friendly good food, try this place out.

Unfortunately I can’t give 0 stars We went to celebrate my Dad’s birthday at Flaming Buffet and ended up with the worst experience. We were all done eating our dinner and where in process of paying and checking out, we all did what’s normal and tipped 20% by card the Waiter didn’t do much but we still understand they make their money out of tip and we would never not tip a service. Anywho when it was time to pay she went around the table picking up our checks, and harassing us to give her cash 💵 at first I was confused and tried to show her that we did tip but than she proceeded to say “more tip, mas Propina I explained to her once again it’s a tip on card. She then harassed everyone and went around asking everyone for a Cash Tip and speaking her Asian Language with another waiter. I personally understand it is hard not being able to speak the language correctly but than she proceeded to laugh and speak her language with a coworker and waiving the check saying “No tip” At this point she upset me. I then said “it’s Illegal to harass anyone to give you an extra tip” She then immediately started saying “okay sorry” with a laugh and still asking for more tip. We decided to speak to the front desk and to a manager and the manager but he didn’t seem to care and kept saying “it’s a language barrier” He didn’t show empathy nor did he try to be a problem solver. This is highly disrespectful and I hope this never happens to you as well. It was embarrassing for us because she made us feel as we didn’t tip. I understand the language can be difficult because I myself am a Latina raised by parent who didn’t speak anything else but Spanish But I do know it’s isn’t a language barrier when you don’t hesitate to say “More Tip in cash or Mas propina” than clearly you know what you’re doing. I personally have no respect for waiters with this energy but also for manager who don’t care to listen and be a problem solver. We tipped 20% and yes will not be going back to eat here. Please rethink when choosing this restaurant because they will try to hustle an extra tip out of you and then call it a language barrier. If I could rate the service it’s a 0-10.

So the food is great except the overall customer experience was terrible. The manager comes to my table and tells me In front of my daughter that he was going to charge her extra or as an adult because of her "size". Had he just charged me the price and waited for me to ask then it would've been different but for him to come to my table and in front of my daughter to say that, is completely unacceptable. It was very heart breaking for my daughter, my next question was "are you charging me double as well cause of my weight?" I asked where this was at and he said that the fine print was on the sign at the entrance. The way he came about it was terrible, don't come to my table to say this in front of my guest! Totally embarrassing. Very rude & wow! Just no words.

Decent, but I was a bit disappointed in this Faming Buffet compared to others in which I’ve eaten. Some of the food looked like it have been sitting out for a while, which isn’t usually the case at this chain. We went on a Wednesday evening at around 7, so maybe it was a slow evening?
