Lee Harvey's — Restaurant in Dallas

I used to recommend Lee Harvey's to people, but I definitely won't anymore. What they did to me was not cool, and technically illegal. But hey, who's going to sue over a free meal and drink, right? Of course not! Instead, customers who have been wronged can tell their story in reviews, and hopefully Lee Harvey's has a cool owner who will read this and apologize.

So I won a contest they had for a free drink and entree, but they gave the prize to someone else based on a rule that was not posted or referenced anywhere (I looked, and they couldn't offer any evidence either). Imagine the excitement of winning something for free and then having them make up a rule and give it to someone else! I was shocked, but I thought, "hey, they're a cool place, they'll make this right." So I immediately brought their mistake to their attention, but their reply did not acknowledge their mistake or attempt to remedy it. Quite the opposite, actually. Then a piece of the evidence that I had won mysteriously disappeared from their web page so it looked like I hadn't won. There's no way to know if Lee Harvey's or someone else did this, but it just made the whole situation look that much more shady.

The free food/drink I won isn't important anymore. I just hope the person who was representing Lee Harvey's to me before wasn't the owner, and that the owner will admit they did something wrong and show good enough customer service to remedy their mistake. I gave the original person a lot of opportunity to do that before I posted this but they didn't take it. They turned the whole situation into one where a former customer doesn't want to go to Lee Harvey's again and is telling her friends not...

I would have kept this review at 5 Stars if my comment did not get removed from Facebook. At one point this place was a nice place to visit on a Friday or Saturday night after a long week. It was perfect great food, drinks, music and great atmosphere. I was at this bar weekly, sometimes twice a week. That was until the night someone stepped in dog feces and the stuff did nothing to clean it up. I literally witnessed this restaurant become contaminated and I hadn't came back for months until last week.

My last visit to this place was awful. The food was terrible, the drinks just weren't poured properly and I have not mentioned the incident with the female bartender. We ordered two burgers and the burgers were not properly prepared. They were completely wrong and the bartender claimed she removed the charges when she only removed one of the charges and not the other. She was extremely loud, rude, and spoke to me like I was stupid in front people and it'd already a highly frustrating situation. She, never did it, she said she would give me the money directly and she pulls two dollars out the cash registers and flicks it down. That is highly unacceptable when I have been attending this venue for years. This place just isn't worth it anymore and that fact that my comment was removed from FB regarding the incident, goes on to show that either someone is sweeping it under the rug or this company...

I've been to Lee Harvey's a lot BUT last night will be my last time.

We were drinking and eating outside and my friend went in to use the restroom. She opened the door to the women's restroom to find some pervert creepily smiling and shaking his penis at her!

After telling the staff what just happened she came outside and told us what happened. I went in to investigate and the bartender said, "oh that never happened. She just accidentally walked in on someone using the restroom."

So a man accidentally went into the clearly marked women's room, accidentally didn't lock the door, and accidentally peed with his back to the toilet, and was accidentally shaking his penis directly at the door?

I'm not blaming Lee Harvey's for the actions of a, probably drunk (overserved?), pervert... BUT dismissing the actions of the pervert and essentially calling a woman that was just sexually harassed/assaulted a liar and doing nothing is CRAZY!

It's honestly a shame. This could be an awesome spot to hangout but I can't support a business that women can't...
