Read moreThe drive thru wait here is always in excess of 10 minutes. The people who take the orders in the drive thru are difficult to understand and exceptonally loud thru the speaker. The people taking the money are also usually rude (except the skinny blonde hair kid with glasses), cannot count change correctly if they give you cash (everyone i have given cash to), and almost ways read the wrong order off first (especially the older, short lady with glasses). The front window people are in such a hurry because they know their drive thru times are absurd shove things out the window so fast it is not unusual to see food and drinks drop, have your drink lid pop off, slam the window shut before you can ask for condiments or correct the food they have given you. Also the drink is wrong every 3rd time i go and seeing as how the only thing i order is a large coke, that is stupid. there used to be the franchisee or franchisee's rep's phone number posted on the drive thru windows and doors. it didnt matter. i called that number so many times and NO ONE ever called me back. Not even the night they were closed on xmas eve and stuck a piece of paper up on drive thru screen saying they were closed 12a to 4a. Those signs are all gone. I dunno if that means it has been taken back by corporate, bought by another franchisee, or Dan Kenney no longer wants to hear it from people who just keep going back anyway because it's the only mcd's around. And really, mcd's coke is good enough to put up with all...
Read moreSo I stopped at this McDonald's drive thru for dinner. When I got home and realized they gave me the wrong order I called to tell them. I was told simply, if I had the receipt, bring it in and show the M.O.D. and tell them I was there for a re-make. I thought....easy enough and was pleased thinking it was going to be easy to get the food I had paid for. Unfortunately the manager working the next day by the name Gloria wasn't in the mood to be bothered by a long-time customer. She approached me without any smile or greeting whatsoever. Just "what can I get you?" I explained, just as i did over the phone the night before, what happened. Gloria began shaking her head "No" before I was finished talking. Then proceeded to make it as though I was lying and refused to replace the order, stating I would need to come back after 9a.m. when the store manager was there. Never considered the fact that I made a special trip there due to their mistake costing me time and money, or that customers are the reason she has job. She told me I would need to take more time from my day and drive back there over a $9 combo meal. I was so shocked. I can't remember being treated that poorly by any restaurant in my life. I was embarrassed, disrepected, and quite frankly disgusted by the interaction. Im sure there are several other food places on this corner that would appreciate my business. The food isnt good enough to keep me loyal to any of them but they way I'm treated while there...
