Mondos sounds like a amazing place to eat. But they Arnt a good company. I was working fine at a decent job making a good living. They called me for interviews and offered me a position as the Gm. Then a week later after I started. I was let go. It wasn’t because I was harassing anyone. It wasn’t because I was late. It was said because I didn’t come in 8 hours early. I was schedule to be there at 2 so I would show up at 2. Then when being let go. They said I should be there at 9. To do work I wasn’t informed or Knowledge In. During the interviews I was never asked things like do you know what a line check is. But it was a problem after I started because I had never done one. They let me go. Didn’t make a effort to get me my check early. And left me really out to dry. I have been struggling because I was let go. I asked why and the reason they told me was because I wasn’t a good fit. They are the ones who convinced me to leave my previous job. They told me it would be a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor. And had several people butter me up. I decided to take the position and was let go only about a week after starting. I have 15 years Gm experience. And they didn’t care about a single thing about me after I left. I called the owner to find out what I could do and he ignored me. I have been struggling so much. Stressing everyday about how I’m going to pay my bills. Going days with out eating. Been looking for a job but nothing. I really wish they didn’t bother me in the...
Read morePicked up a family member from Love Field and we wanted some pizza. Quick search of the googes and this place pops up with the best looking pizza pictures. So we drive over and eh sure not the most picturesque area but oh well we're here lets head in. The family and I mob the front counter and my Wife is starving and immediately mentions out loud that we're gonna get the cheesy bread to start. These guys hear her and start working it before we can even order and pay their service is so great. Anyways we order up a couple of pies and some wings drinks/beers etc. Place is a tad small but it's cozy if you're eating in. They were watching movies on the TV and when one ended my kiddo's saw the list and shouted out for one and the guys obliged. They tossed the food over the counter immediately as they pulled it from the oven piping hot. Everything was delicious. Crust on the pizzas is crispy but the dough is still light and fluffy on the inside. Not to thin not to thick. Just the right amount of sauce. Toppings all tasted high quality from the cheese to the meats and veg. Anyways if you're in the area and need a tasty quick pizza or wings I/we (the fam) highly...
Read moreMondos is an upscale pizza place with a really fun menu. They also have gluten-free pizzas that are really good. There's a $5 upcharge for it though. I had a combination. It was full of sausage, Olives, bell peppers, onions, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, banana peppers, cheese & sauce. It was so good. Best pizza since going gluten free. It is pricey for a pizza here. I paid just over $30 for my gluten free medium pizza. The screen you pay on asks you for a tip too, although no one actually brings anything to your table. You get your own drink. But there are no cups, straws or ice. I did miss the ice, cups & lids. It was really good food & and atmosphere, so if you're good with spending a few bucks more than at your average pizza place & you want some excellent pizza, come here. It's so yummy & you can people or traffic watch as...
