I ate dinner tonight at P.F. Chang’s. I think it was the first time I had been here for almost 15 years. The first time I came, there was a wait of about an hour which I don’t tolerate well.
Things have changed. And I did get to revisit The one located at Dallas North tollway and Frankford Road. I had made a date to have Dinner with a woman who had decided to stand me up.
When I came in, I was immediately greeted By the host and hostess and promptly escorted to a table. I sat at the table For about 15 minutes and I couldn’t stop the one waiter that seemed to be on duty. I decided that I would eat at the bar.
It’s a very big bar probably 20 seats but very comfortable for dining.
It was there I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Aria. She was the bartender on duty and had a very pleasant personality. While waiting for service at the table, I had had an opportunity to review the menu and had decided on having seafood tonight. There was something on the menu that I didn’t recognize. It is named “salt and pepper, prawns“.
I asked Aria about it, and she gave the best description of a menu item That I have ever heard. (Sorry for the weird capitalization as I am dictating this text). She explained how the dish was prepared as well as The sauces involved, and it sounded absolutely delicious. Needless to say, I had. The prawns and edamame as an appetizer. My dinner also included a bottle of Mark West. Pinot Noir which is one of my favorites.
My food came out in a very timely manner and was piping hot. The shrimp looked wonderful. Tasted even better than they looked. I’m so sorry that I did not take a picture of it Before I ate them. The presentation was quite well done.
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve Had a long time. If you haven’t been to P.F. Chang’s lately, I would highly recommend it. The prices are also very reasonable And the atmosphere was quite soothing and calming. It was a perfect meal.
As I indicated above, I give P.F. Chang’s five stars.. I also give five stars to Aria For her attentive, but not invasive service at the bar. I will be coming back on a more regular basis now and if I’m at this location certainly...
Read moreNot the best experience! I used to go to PF Chang's a few times at a different location and always enjoyed it. Unfortunately not here.. We went for lunch as a company on a Friday. First the hostess lady was very nice and talkative. The waiter was very rude! We ordered appetizers and didn't see the waiter for a at least 15-20 minutes. We didn't have two hours to spend in a lunch. One of the appetizers wasn't brought out so we for it 25 minutes after ordering. The waiter finally came back to the table after bringing the second appetizer over and was on the ordering computer 4 feet away just saying"okay what do you want, next, you, you etc.." we had to basically yell over to him our order because he didn't want to write it down and then put it in. One of the people at our table had to get up and go over to the waiter and tell him her order because they couldn't hear each other. The food came out 30 minutes later after ordering and you could tell had been just sitting under a heat lamp. The waiter was never anywhere to be found and was rude when he was there. It took forever to get the check and had to wave him down. This was a terrible experience and can't believe they hire waiters like this... None the less we were late getting out of there and had to eat are food as fast as we could when it...
Read moreWanted some lunch so I came here. Once I entered the male host welcomed me with a smile and asked how my day and how I was doing which was hospitable but when I responded and asked him a question, I was confused when I didn't get an answer. As I was escorted to my seat I asked another question and he turned and smiled with a delay. I then realized he had an earpiece in one ear and a air pod in the other which let me know he wasn't paying attention to anything I was saying which also made his greeting more robotic and distant. After sitting for about a minute, my waitress named Alma greeted me also with a smile and asked what I was drinking. I started with the chicken lettuce wraps which was good but the chicken was a little tough and the sauce be careful, it had a sneaky spicy kick that will open your nostrils if you are congested. I then had the lunch portions of the beef and broccoli which was a lunch portion for a two year old lol. The lunches portion for the Changs spicy chicken was suitable. Both meals were delicious and the egg roll was great, I wasn't a big fan of the sauce. My waitress Alma was very attentive and was bringing me refills without asking. Over all it was a...
