The best thing about this place is the tarter sauce. I've been here twice and have yet to even be marginally impressed. I bought fish and red beans from Mardi Gras Daiquiri yesterday and had red beans and rice left over...I wanted to get more fish to go with it and didn't want to deal with the traffic and construction on skillman, so I figured Ronnie's would do. You can't get just fish. So I got a basket. No matter what I feel the lady always says 15 minutes, though your food is probably ready in 5. When I arrived my food was less than hot, fries soggy, and fillets tiny as usual. Next time I'll just fight the traffic and get a better meal and bargain for my money elsewhere.
Update:This (tail and belly of a very small fish) IS NOT 2 pieces of fish. Asked for tarter sauce SPECIFICALLY and recieved basic packages, though I was more than willing to pay for the resturant sauce had it been offered. Got all the way back to work with this subpar offering, called the resturant where she offered to take it back and refund me.....4 hours later. Watch out for this plate at 4pm, as clearly they plan to resell it. Ruined my lunch at my expense. DON'T EAT HERE. I reviewed this place a year ago. POOR REVIEW then and nothing has changed. Overpriced, low value for the cost. Customer service is unfortunately exactly what I expect for this area. POOR!
Because I can't respond to lies spewed by this venue. I did not order a basket, which is why I'm not complaining of a lack of fries or bread. The complaint is that I was given a tail and a belly NUGGET and would have been MORE THAN HAPPY to pay the .75 I wipe my butt with to pay for the sauce had she been clear that it wasn't provided. I asked . I pointed. Her confusion and lack of customer service ruined my lunch. There's no...
Read moreI was and still am super excited that we have a catfish place over here! I was wishing for a fish place over here that sold bone-in fish! I was driving all the way to Pleasant Grove to get fish on the weekends! Now I can just drive 5-10 min.
I went on grand opening day and I called in and the wait was long but my order was hot and good! You should always expect long waits when your food is cooked to order! At least they didn’t just have food lying around under a heat lamp! Also my sister got Koolaid and she loved it!
Customer service was great! I was greeted with someone offering hand sanitizer! I liked how I was greeted and how nice everyone seemed.
The only thing that bothered me was that day was the loud music! It was really hard to hear (especially since I have trouble hearing). Other than that I felt like everything was what I have experienced at any other place that is opening for the first time and cook their food to order! I will definitely be going back, especially since it’s so close to me now!!!
Keep up the good work! It can...
Read moreI know today is the grand opening but they say call in your order to avoid a long wait, so I called in and was put on hold well she just laid the phone down, and proceeded to take 3-4 orders and then someone else walked in and before she took the last order she just hung up on my call, so I guess Walk in takes priority over call in, I know the Ronnie's catfish in the Grove but I'm not sure about this one, but call for yourself or drive by for yourself it only takes one time for me to say enough, and I know Grand opening is a Rush, if I could give it lower than 1 star ⭐ I would, but in the food industry customer service is second only to the product you produce, so I will keep my little Pocket change because now I'm not even interested if it is good food or not, but for my readers you don't have to take my word for it, I do my best to give you the most important things and the details that I would want, so for me I will never step foot in this place because the first impression is or should always be your...
