Dont waste your time .eat somewhere else where...First time here .when we walked in no one greeted us...bartender stares...I'm like what do I do sit myself or what...she said sit anywhere..a waitress comes eventually...we order ..never took our drink order had to walk to bar from my table. they dont have no gin or whiskey at bar (kind of bar is this). ...food comes out n she did bring us bottle of water. The jollof rice good plantains good 3 pieces of goat was ok.i had three pieces of beef.only could eat 1 and a half cause that other 1and half was sooo tough I couldn't bite it. I had no problem still paying I just wanted my tough beef to be replaced with beef I can chew. Bartender tried to give me a hard way then the waiter acts like she gonna replace ONE beef then comes to tell me there no more ,I had the last of it ...we got there at 2pm..they just opened and all the beef is gone LIES...we leave I call less than 10mins and order beef n jollof for pick and guess what they had beef... workers act like they dont want to work. Like we bothering them. They were slow..and just over all bad over customer service....and they like NO MORE BEEF smh rubbish..I wont...
Read moreIt was okay and laid back until I paid for the food, the woman didn't want to give me my change. She took my money and put it into the cash register and walked away. Then she said for me to hold on because she needed to do other things. I asked another worker to help me and explain to her what happen and I need the money that was left over. I was finally given my money and the woman who took the money had an attitude after I explained to her co-worker. So it depends on who is serving you at Aso Rock, the environment was calm and good but the one female worker who took my cash in the beginning showed her true colors and didn't serve my brother and I well. Aso Rock in my opinion should be rated as a 3 due to the employee and her rudeness. The food is about a 6, but the African Market that is down from Aso Rock is definitely a 10. They have soup already done for cheap. Bitter leaf, Oha, egusi, vegetable and much more. They sell meat, and have different types of African imports. The costumer service is nice and the food is delicious the men at the cash register are friendly to all. The only reason I didn't go to the African Market was that it is closed...
Read moreI went to Aso Rock to eat dinner with my friends yesterday. Word on the street- The New Aso Rock is breath taking, so We were curious to see what the hype was about. I am Kenyan, my friends are Jamaican, Haitian, Nigerian and Spanish respectfully, so we were in the mood for some cultured food. We got to Aso Rock and we were amazed by the ambiance from the last time each of us had been there. The scenery was beautiful, homely and welcoming. From the kind waitresses that greeted us to our tables, to the sight of the beautiful menu they now serve, to the drink options and the amazing bar. It was a Thursday night well spent. The Food was brought on time, fresh and delicious. The waiters were kind enough to assist us with deciding our food. The best part of our experience was the loungey vibe. The house dj created a great vibe that was very inclusive and appropriate for every demographics. We had an amazing time and will be sure to visit again. Aso Rock is truly a restaurant, and a lounge.
