My family and I was in the drive thru. After the automated voice came on, the “manager” came on the box and asked us to hold on. So we did. “Manager” comes back on the box irritated with us asking to take our order as if he forgot he put us on hold. No big deal, we’re all human, right? We place our first order, total of 3 basic items , No special instructions provided. Simple enough. Now we ask to place a second order, and this is when the “manager” turns into Deebo. He told us with his chest he is NOT taking a third order. How did we get to order number 3 , idk. Maybe he premeditated being irritated in the future with us. Nevertheless, we thought he was playing so we responded with we don’t have a third order but here’s the code for the next order. WHY DID WE DO THAT, omg?! Manager: I SAID IM NOT TAKING A THIRD ORDER! GET WAY FROM MY WINDOW OR IM CALLING THE POLICE! IDC IDC , YOU CAN GO TO THE TACO BELL ON JIM MILLER!! and continues his “manager” filled rage. At this time we didn’t know he was the head huncho, so we asked who is the manager because what the hellyyy is going on. Dude is trying to take us out of character with children around. Back to the story though.. Again, he puts his full mouth back on the head, and goes IM THE MANAGER AND I SAID IM NOT TAKING A THIRD ORDER AND JIM MILLER TACO BELL IS DOWN THE STREET!! We’re like okay ? But it’s a franchise so why are pushing customers to give another location money? Anywho.. the saga continues.. So, we explained we didn’t mind waiting for the police if he called them. We both got the same time and opportunity to call them and wait. ATP, there’s silence and crickets. I was going to wait for DPD since it’s the principle of it. There’s no way he thought we would be shaking in our boots at the fact he wanted to waste the police time. Plus, if you know the area , good luck with them showing up on Friday night, where they’re preoccupied in the surrounding neighborhoods and drama from deep ellum, south Dallas, lower Greenville, etc. I definitely had time to waste if we must. At this point, we still couldn’t leave .. Why, you might ask? Because the “manager” isn’t serving the CUSTOMERS who was there before us and it’s more CUSTOMERS behind us he still needed to refer to the other location since he didn’t want this one to make anymore money clearly. Eventually, the cars ahead of us pulled off. As we’re leaving, building is empty and mister manager seemed to be in the parking cooling in the car/suv with the door open. Cars still in the drive thru, leaving with us because it gives them the impression it’s closed. Another L. Now.. Did we go to the other Taco Bell?? Nope, heading their way next to leave a wonderful review. It must be great there if we’re being told to leave this place we’re already at and ordered with to go to that location. Moral of the Review: The Mockingbird location was EXCELLENT! Very patient and courteous with my family from the time the box answered us to the time we left. Food was fresh and drinks were good. We even shared several laughs with them as they collected our money. Oh and PS, the Jim Miller location has a higher rating than this one so thanks to the “manager” for putting me on...
Read moreMy husband and I did a drive thru visit to grab dinner for the family on our way home from work. There was no one in the drive thru and no one behind us. The lady who took our order was nice enough and pleasant. The drive thru window has a security like jail/bail bonds type window thing which is so weird and impersonal but I get it's safety thing. We get to the window to pay and this lady was not nice at all and she asked us to pull up front to wait on our order. We ordered the crunchy taco supreme 12 party pack, 2 bean burritos, quesadilla, Mexican pizza and a beefy melt burrito. When the lady brings the order out to car, she literally shoves the bag in car window, does not say thank you, enjoy, nothing. We live 5 minutes away from this location. We get home and everything was ice cold. Not even lukewarm. The tortillas on the bean burritos and the beefy melt were hard and stale. Then the kicker was whoever bagged up the order dumped a ton of hot sauce packets in the bag. Like a ton! (I have pictures if you'd like to see!) My husband counted them and there were 73 hot sauce packets! 73!!! Are you kidding me? I would say taco bell is losing a lot on inventory if this happens on the regular. Totally unacceptable. I love Taco Bell, it's my favorite fast food on the planet and I have never had such a horrible experience in my life. The manager at this location really needs to get a handle on their employees. Thank you for listening. I still love Taco Bell but from now on I will drive out of my way to go to a...
Read moreI went to pick up a DoorDash order lastnight around 10:55, and I asked the lady was there a pickup window for door dash since I saw the lobby was closed, and she said no I had to drive through drive thru. I saw a Hispanic lady walk to the door and it was locked, so she walked to the thru window. She waited for the car in front of me to leave and stepped in front of the window. I asked her what she was doing and she said door dashing and I told her she had to get in line and wait because the lady told me that there wasn’t a window for DoorDash. The lady showed her phone to the other Hispanic lady at the window, and she handed her her order through the window after she walked up through drive thru after telling me no. I then pulled up and asked her why did she give her her order and told me that we can’t do that . The girl looked back to the Hispanic guy and laughed. I asked her again and she did the same thing. The she asked me the name on my order. I told her that’s he was wrong and that that’s discrimination and that I would be reporting her. She then shrugged her shoulders and smirked. Then she pulled out her phone and took a pic of the order on the screen. Not sure why she did it but she did. I’m assuming it’s the order that I picked up. The orders have the door dasher names on them Also, so not sure what she plans on doing...
