Terry’s Donut — Restaurant in Dallas

Second time trying this place out via Uber Eats. The first time I tried this place out was about six months ago also via Uber Eats. (See my previous review below.) Last time a lot of the donuts were undercooked and berry during this time was SO much better! Everything was cooked perfectly and everything was so nice and fluffy. Just like the photos online. The flavor was great - wasn’t overcooked in the slightest & wasn’t too oily. The Cronut was nice and big, just like the other photos online, unlike last time. Based on this experience, I’m so glad I gave this place a second chance! I would definitely recommend, and I’d definitely order Cronuts from Terry’s Donuts again!

Tried this place out for the first time on a Friday morning around 7:30 AM. Ordered delivery via UberEats. Food arrived pretty quickly & the order was completed correctly.

Cronut - Pretty small compared to other cronuts I’ve tried in the area. Sides measure the length of a chapstick tube. Flavor is pretty good like a standard crown up, but the texture is pretty dense for a cronut. Some parts taste like batter? Taste like it might not have been cooked all the way?

Cronut holes - Also pretty dense compared to other cronut donut holes I’ve had in the area. Flavor is good.

Cinnamon roll - pretty big; ~5.5 inches in diameter. Flavor is good; Heavy- handed cinnamon. Texture is nice - soft and fluffy.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the cronuts. Maybe they were in a rush because it was the morning-rush, but they seemed undercooked to me. From this experience, I would not recommend when compared to other places that have cronuts in the area, but I might try them again in a few months to see if...

I ordered via Uber Eats a dozen donuts, 2 dozen donut holes and a wonderful maple glazed apple fritter topped with bacon ($3.99). I selected Terry's because I thought mom & pop business! The donuts are fresh and beautifully presented. However they lost a star because there were no napkins! The other missing star is because I requested extra napkins in the Uber menu option and again not one, but I called and their response was "I'm sorry, I hope the rest of your day is nice". The Uber driver was tipped 20% with pleasure, I also paid a $3.00 service fee that was not mentioned! Delivery $3.49 So $28.63 for donuts to thank the nurses at my rehab facility that I had to use industrial bathroom brown paper towels....

I placed my order from Terry’s through Uber eats. 10/10 recommend!! We aren’t locals & we wanted to surprise my daughters grandparents w/ some donuts on grandparents day. I left a note if they could add “Happy grandparents day” on the box & they sure did. When I saw that they actually did it I was over the moon. It sure put a smile to our faces. The donuts were delicious! My girls don’t finish their donuts from any donut shop but they sure did today! I ordered them a Minions & Spider-Man donut and it also made their entire morning. Don’t miss out on these delicious donuts!! It was hard to choose which ones...
