The moment I pulled up, the outside of the shop was spotless and inviting. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted right away with a big smile and a warm “Good afternoon, how are you?” which set the tone for the whole visit.
The young gentleman working the counter was friendly and patient, walking me through the menu and making great recommendations. I ended up ordering the shrimp Po’boy, another sandwich with salami and ham, Cajun French fries, and on his suggestion, the Swamp Water drink.
Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, the sandwiches were loaded with fresh ingredients and flavorful meats, and the fries had just the right amount of Cajun kick. I brought lunch home for my wife, my mother-in-law, and myself, and we all agreed it was outstanding.
What really stood out, beyond the food, was the customer service. The young man at the counter on Friday, August 8 around noon made the whole experience memorable with his friendly attitude and attention to detail.
Highly recommend this place and I will...
Read moreI stumbled into The PoBoy Shop after a quick visit to the Wells Fargo next door, and I am so glad I did! The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, and you can feel the pride and excitement they have for this new spot.
The space is vibrant and inviting, with a dark green color scheme that gives it a cool, fresh vibe. I tried the fried shrimp PoBoy and was seriously impressed. The shrimp was seasoned to perfection — flavorful, crispy, and full of that classic Southern comfort. But the real surprise star? The fries. Hands down some of the best I’ve had. Perfectly seasoned with a kick of spice and so much flavor packed in every bite.
To top it off, I had a huckleberry soda made with real cane sugar that was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect refreshing complement to the meal.
If you’re in the area, make it a priority to check out The PoBoy Shop. Amazing staff, bold flavors, and a genuine sense of community. This place is going...
Read moreWe walked in expecting a good po’boy — we walked out questioning everything we thought we knew about seasoning.
The fried shrimp po’boy was a masterpiece of balance — crispy shell, tender shrimp, and an avalanche of spices that somehow worked in perfect harmony. The fries? Let’s just say one order could feed a small crowd — and every single fry was dressed like it had somewhere important to be.
The turkey and provolone sandwiches were for the kids, but I took a bite and immediately regretted sharing. Simple, clean, shockingly satisfying — the kind of sandwich that reminds you how good “simple” can be.
And then the gumbo. Deep, rich, smoky — the kind of bowl that silences a table.
Every bite felt like a small parade of flavor — dill, ranch, pepper, herbs, smoke — all showing up to...
