The Pour House — Restaurant in Dallas

Not a place for young Adults. I really tried to like this bar because my older Aunt and Uncle love it and have been going here for decades. I went several times and was treated poorly. I honestly think it was because I was alone and young so they made assumptions. This most recent time i completely gave up. I was sitting on the patio alone and ordered a beer, paid cash and never got my change. I told the blonde waitress I did not get my change and she told me over and over that she did give it to me. This was not true. It was only 11 dollars so I thought I could just tell the manager and he would fix it. Call it a mistake. But when I told him he told me to my face that I was lying. Even tho he wasn't there? Then my date showed up and I told him. He went to talk to the manager to ask about it. The manager told my date that I made it up and was lying to him. The whole time I'm thinking, why wouldn't they believe me and just acknowledge the mistake. It's such a small thing. So then they asked us to leave which we were doing anyway. Told me I couldn't come back. And the whole time this guy doesn't realize my aunt and uncle are actually friends of his. He's known since the 90s. Young people do not get...

Hello everyone! My boyfriend and I just came into this nice little dive bar to use the restroom and as we left, the bartender called after me asking if I needed any help. Seeming like a polite normal interaction, I respond “no thank you”. I want to note there isn’t a sign on the door that says you’re not allowed to use the restroom if you’re not a patron, at least as far as we saw after looking at many signs outside the bar. Anyway,the bartender a shortish brown haired lady w glasses started up with MAJOR attitude saying “oh you’re just gonna use my bathroom and leave?” Going on to say we need to tip her in order to use “her” bathroom, and passive aggressively yelling “oh so you’re just gonna use my restroom and walk out? You know you should pay for that!” Tipping you to pee? I’m super confused. And regardless, why would we want to tip somebody coming at us sideways with so much attitude. Like mama even if I would’ve considered it not after berating us about it. I’m sure the bar is nice or whatever but y’all be aware that lady...

So after loosing my brother to the buffalo mass shooting on the same day my business tanked I went in for a couple of drinks and food to clear my head after I was finished I was approched by the owner about not tipping when I was leaving in my opinion was very rude and disturbing being that I was the only black man there not sayin it was a race thing but I was going through a lot at the time and just couldn't afford the tip but because I was approched in that manner I pulled the last ten dollars out my pocket and gave him half I'm deeply disturbed by this and don't understand why. I understand and respect all service workers but sometimes we just wanna go in and not be reminded of our problems and leave with none but thanks to the owner I was reminded of everything I failed at and what I loss when I came in to forget just for 1 second the food was amazing and the drinks were good as well but I don't appreciate...
