Tipico's — Restaurant in Dallas

I am a disabled person. I'm not able to walk for too long before I get winded so I take small steps and rest for a bit to catch my breath and strength. My sister who is also disabled needed to seat down and rest our legs for a moment. The benches that are inside and outside were occupied so we just looked for something to seat down immediately until I caught my breath and strength. Gerrardo came up to me talking loud so that everyone could hear that he can talk to the customer any way he wants too. He was rude and arrogant. He yelled out that I needed to get up now because there were customers waiting to be seated. I told him that I needed to catch my breath for just a moment. I was trying to tell him about my condition but he rudely talked over me and told me to get off now. He would not hear my pleas that if I got up quickly I could fall and it was going to be on him for not letting me catch my breath. He said to get out now and I don't care about your condition. I had my walker with me so it takes me a little bit to get up and walk. I have rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, diabetic, troble breathing and Lupus. He just got more ugly and told me to leave now that he will not serve me and I tried to tell him I'm getting off the chair and that I understood that others were there before me but once again Gerardo yelled over me and threaten to call the police. I told him many times to stop talking to me but he would not stop yelling at me. I told him to give me his name and he did but he continued to yell at me when I was already outside going towards my car. I told a couple of people that were about to go in that Gerardo was being very rude and to be careful of his rath. Gerardo must think just because he is related in some way to the owners he can talk and do what he wants. I've enjoyed going to Tipicos but this man acted a fool and my interest in going back to Tipicos has...

We came to this place a many times with our friend. I particularly do not like this place now because a long time ago, I had the Mexican chicken soup, and it was horrible! The skin on the chicken was tough and let's just move it up to today--their salsa is not great, their queso cheese tastes fake-like it was canned, and it was runny--the food was pretty good but the service was absolutely terrible! Our server bought the food, but she just ignores us, and comes whenever she's ready--I asked for 2 tacos with my meal, and I didn't get it-which it took almost 30 minutes for her to get to our table, and then I told her about it!! We needed to-go boxes, our friend got one, and me and my sister shared one....our server never came to the table to give us tickets for us to pay for our dinner--our friend practically went to the cashier desk to pay. We need to-go cups, and another girl came with 1 cup--I said we needed another one-she came, acting like she didn't want to be bothered!! Well, why work there if you act like you two don't care about your customers?? We live in Denton, and so I have to say that Mi Tata's restaurant is way better than this place! At least you get better food, and better service!! Won't be coming back! And might I add, the food wasn't hot- Mi Tata's ALWAYS makes sure that their food is hot-so hot you have to be careful, because you might get burned...but that's the nice thing about that restaurant other than this one, because I can't understand why their food...

Surprised about all the good reviews. Will have to give it another shot at another point, maybe they're having a bad day.

The cashier completely blew my order. Had to open and close the register twice because she screwed up so bad she couldn't even clear the transaction. I just wanted a breakfast burrito and a cup of coffee. She tried to charge me $2.75 for both. I asked "Really? For a burrito AND a coffee? Wow!" then she added the coffee. After processing my card, that's when she told me that the burritos are really small. Maybe she could tell me before running my card.

The burrito came out without any eggs in it. (What?!) The tortilla was super dry, crispy, and with burned black circles in many places. The bacon and sausage were also dry inside and the cheese was only partially melted. Felt like I was eating out of a bag of Kraft shredded cheese. I want soft, large burritos that I can barely close my hand around, with eggs and melted cheese inside. She was rushed, distracted, and cook blew it by giving me a burned, crispy tortilla.

I have had incredible breakfast burritos in Southern California and even Denver. Forget "incredible", this one wasn't even good. Oh, and there were about 25 parking spots open at 9am, another reason I keep thinking all these reviews with great food and horrible parking are actually for another place.
