My experience with this Wendy’s is the worst ever. We stopped in the night before after leaving the hospital. The order was 4 Biggie Bags , 1 made specialty, and drinks of course. So, being that it’s been a long evening and I live almost an hour away , I just wanted to get home but the kids were hungry and didn’t want to wait to get closer to home. Well after waiting in line forever , we get the food and are on our way. Headed to 75, they’re like these fries aren’t good. I’m like y’all should’ve waited. So then my daughter says “mama , look at the bread” . The bread was molded. I then called Wendy’s to make them aware of the situation. After 6 calls being unanswered, finally got Kendra on the phone. I explained the situation to her and expressed how unhappy I was about it including the inconvenience as well as the safety concern. She apologized and told me that she could/ would replace or refund my order. I told her it wouldn’t be tonight, but I would come back tomorrow. She said fine, and took my name so she could leave a note for the other manager. I go in the next day as said the night before, Mario tells me he can only give me half the order. I said well I paid for 4 not 2. I said well just refund it. He said he wasn’t going to refund it either. So I call corporate, and they were apologetic and assured me they’d make it up to me. So as I wait they call Mario and they speak. I don’t know what was said but that didn’t help. Then Mario said he’d give me the general manager’s (TJ)number. No answer. Finally the next morning TJ called. He apologized as well and asked for details of the matter. So I told him. His explanation was that it’s the area. And for this reason so many people scam for food. Wow! He then said he would arrange for me to have my order remade at a Wendy’s closer to my home and he would call me back after the arrangements were in place. I’m like ok. Fine. Guess what???? I’m still waiting on that call. I have pictures of the molded bread. I could’ve taken it further than just a complaint. But I tried to be understanding that none of us are perfectionist and things happen. However, sometimes you have to let your actions speak volume and your knowledge speak silence. Read moreThis is the worst Wendy's, no restaurant I have ever been in. I thought I would go inside to order my special burger so there would be no confusion and it was awful. The person working the register did not know how to charge for 1 extra slice of cheese. Nor did he know how to specify the double w/cheese be plain and dry.
So he rang it up all the way and told me he would "tell them how to make it". Well, the person he told refused to put the extra slice of cheese on because I was not charged for it!
Long story short it took 3 attempts to finally make it right during which time I was charged for TWO slices of cheese because the person who took my order said I wanted two SINGLES, each with extra cheese. So, I was overcharged but when they went to make it a 3rd time, the person who took my order was gone and didn't tell anybody my Dave's Double was plain and dry.
Well, it finally got made and then they just left it on the counter instead of handing it to me so I could leave! At this point I think they were doing it on purpose. It took about 5 minutes for someone to finally just pick it up and hand it to me in a bag.
I'm summarizing and left a few details out but you get the idea. I was met with incompetence and disdain from everyone in the store and I will never go back to this Wendy's. Possibly to any Wendy's. I highly recommend everybody avoid this Wendy's...
Read moreThis is my third and last time going to this location. The first two times I waited 50 minutes in line to get 2 Double Stacks sandwiches and an order of fries. Today, the first girl took my order, told me the total at the first window, took my card, handed it back to me with the receipt and didn't say one word as far as greeting me. I moved on to the second window and the next girl just handed me my bag. I paused before driving off and then I said, "so how are you doing tonight? Because no one seems to want to greet anyone." She replied, "uh...I speak." Obviously you speak. They wouldn't have you taking orders if you didn't speak. The issue was the lack of customer service and the food didn't taste good. Clearly you're not meant to be in the service industry if you can barely say hi to someone for 10 seconds. I've been in this industry 15 years and all I know is it's not cut out for everyone. Being a smart ass won't get you very far either. I don't leave reviews. I usually just read them. But this experience just irritated me to the core.
