We tried Whistle Britches, and it did NOT disappoint! 🔥 From the crispy, flaky chicken & waffles to the hearty Whistle Britches sandwich with ham, country gravy, and eggs on a buttery biscuit—everything was chef’s kiss 😍. The ambiance was perfect, with outdoor seating for those brunch vibes! Even our little one loved every bite. If you’re looking for a 10/10 brunch spot, this is it! 📍 Whistle Britches ⭐ Rating: 10/10 🍽️ Must-Try: Chicken & Waffles, Whistle Britches Sandwich Tag someone who needs to try this place! ⬇️ #WhistleBritches #BrunchVibes #FoodieReview #SouthernEats #10Outta10

This place is super aesthetic and the portions are GENEROUS!! They've been on my bucket list for months so we decided to stop by for brunch on Sunday. I'm not sure if their regular menu is any different, but they offer a nice selection for brunch. The host said the wait time for a table would be 15 mins, so we opted for bar seating. The bartender was very nice and got us drinks right away. It took a while to look at the menu since there was the only one available, so I let my friends go first. The interior is super cute, I love the decors and rustic vibe, and it looks like they have outdoor seating in the back as well. The menu was a little pricey. I was expecting $20 but some dishes went for $40. I had my eyes set on the chicken & waffles, and my friends decided to split the whole chicken. Sides are an extra add-on which brought my meal to $30 and theirs to $50. A little too pricey for my liking. I was looking if they had any tables to switch over since the bar smelled like Clorox and it was giving me a headache. Sadly, more guests came and the empty tables got taken. It took about 20 mins for the food to come out, and I was surprised at the portion size! The biscuits came first, and THEY'RE HUGE. Then come the side of garlic fries, 3-cheese mac n cheese, my chicken and waffle, and the whole fried chicken. Every plate was FILLING! The chicken tender had a good crunch and was VERY juicy. I love the syrup that came along-- it was sweet and light, so much better than your typical maple syrup. They had some hot sauce available, but none was spicy enough for my taste. The portion came with 4 big tenders and a normal size waffle, which isn't bad for the price. The waffle was soggy after a couple of photos and syrup, but I didn't mind. I also got their 3-cheese mac n cheese ($8), and that was super cheesy. I would say it's good if you're a fan of mac n cheese, but I probably wouldn't get it again. The garlic fries were okay, nothing special. It was soaked in oil which made it soggy. My boyfriend liked their biscuits, he said it was hard on the outside but soft and flaky on the inside. I really like the jam that they offer. I couldn't tell the flavor, it tasted like orange for me, but it was pretty damn good. Their whole chicken was quite big, and it was hot and crispy, even after 20 mins. My friends' fingers were getting burnt just holding the pieces up. The service was good as the bartender constantly checked in on us and refilled our water. When we asked for some jam and butter to go, he brought back 3 small containers of each, which is PLENTIFUL. Overall, I enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service here. It's a good place to take out-of-town friends for brunch, or if you're craving some juicy fried chickens.

Have wanted to try here forever, Inside looked good and really nice patio area... but will NOT be back! Called in a to go order was told 10 mins. Waited the an additional 27 minutes (on top of the 10) trying to entertain a 4 year old where we were told to wait, at the bar. The restaurant was not overly busy. There was no wait to be seated. The order was simple. 3 biscuits, 2 plain, one bacon egg and cheese. 37 mins and It cost $28!!! This almost $30 to go order did not include napkins, plasticware, butter, or jam (which I had specifically asked for on the call in and then AGAIN when picking up). This order was for a special occasion, which I was in turn late for! The biscuits were huge bricks and tasted terrible. I called the next day to complain and a nice manager, Rudy, was great! He said he would have Ian the gm call me about a refund when he came in and that he would email me a voucher to come and try something different, sometime in the future! How nice! No call, no email. I call the next day and a 2nd manager told me unless I brought the food back I would not be refunded so I dug through my gabage to retrieve the leftover thrown away garbage from now 3 days ago and put it in my car to drop by the next day. Next day, no call from Ian. I finally called to speak with him instead. He had a horrible attitude, did not apologize, and did not offer to let us come try again. He agreed to give me a refund but actually said "whatever" to me as I reluctantly thanked him for giving me my money back....the refund of my hard earned wasted money! "WHATEVER?!?!?" Wow! Some food here might be good, but we won't ever know! Due to the terrble customer service provided by 2 out of 3 managers there! The Biscuit Bar near Legacy and Mashed in Frisco, are both awesome compared to this place. Honestly, even McDonald's can beat this places biscuits!! And after a disappointing late start to a family tradition, 4 days of following up, 3 separate calls explanations and complaing, digging through my garbage and then being hung up on by the general manager who's final response to me was "Whatever"! Glad I got my money back! I will be providing recommendations for far better places, with good food and great staff to as many people as I...

This restaurant excels in both food quality and pricing, but has significant room for improvement in customer service. The culinary offerings are outstanding, scoring a perfect 5/5 for both taste and affordability, including their exceptionally priced cosmos. However, the customer service experience detracts from the overall dining experience.

Key areas for improvement include:

Staffing and Service Efficiency: The lack of a dedicated host at the stand resulted in slow service. Our host, Pablo, was commendably managing multiple roles including hosting, taking orders, and serving, which impacted service efficiency.

Customer Interaction and Consistency: It is crucial for servers to consistently treat every customer with equal attention and enthusiasm. While Pablo provided commendable service, another staff member, a blonde lady with a notably loud voice, displayed selective engagement with customers. This inconsistency in customer treatment was evident and detrimental to the dining experience.

Communication and Food Service: There was a noticeable delay in food service, and a lack of communication about this delay to the guests. Although the food was freshly prepared, the staff failed to assure guests about the wait time or offer alternatives in the interim.

Dining Environment: Given the intimate setting of the restaurant, the selective service by the aforementioned staff member was particularly conspicuous and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for some diners.

In conclusion, while the food quality and pricing at this establishment are commendable, there is a significant need for improvement in customer service. Addressing these issues could greatly enhance the overall dining experience and potentially increase the customer base. Despite these concerns, the quality of the food, particularly the chicken, makes this restaurant worth revisiting. It is recommended to support and provide constructive feedback to local businesses to aid their growth and success.

By profession I am an auditor with extensive issue management experience so I gave this review a professional feedback though this was a leisure dine...
