I recently dined at Shiraz with my family, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best dining experiences we've ever had. We were recommended to this restaurant by my parents' optometrist, and we're so glad we took their advice!
Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with classy music that set the perfect ambience. Our server was incredibly attentive, and we were promptly seated and made to feel right at home. We were a party of six celebrating my mother's 88th birthday, and the staff made sure that her day was extra special.
Now, let's talk about the food. Wow! The dishes were nothing short of incredible! I had the Fezenjun, and it was easily one of the most delicious meals I've ever had at any restaurant. The flavors were a complete burst of taste that left me wanting more. The portions were so large that I could've easily shared my meal with my wife, but honestly, it was so good that I didn't want to share!
My son had the lamb shank, and it was a real hearty portion that even he couldn't finish in one sitting. We appreciated the generous portions and the fact that the food was so delicious that we wanted to take it home to enjoy later.
The highlight of the evening was when the staff brought out a cheesecake for my mother's birthday and sang "Happy Birthday" to her. It was a touching moment that she'll never forget.
Overall, our experience at Shiraz was excellent. The food was delicious, the ambience was perfect, and the staff was attentive and kind. Our waiter had a winning smile that made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We are delighted to have dined at Shiraz and look forward to returning again soon. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional...

This restaurant is very overpriced for what is offers as far as quality, quantity and its environment. One of the most overly expensive Persian restaurants in DFW area.
Just for comparison Raffi's Place in Glendale, CA which is one of the best quality Persian restaurants in the US has these prices for the quality of food that is superior to this location. Even Kasra & Giovanni's food quality is better compared to this restaurant.

Consider that rent and labor are even much higher in CA compared to TX.
Thanks to the internet you can compare the other menu items.
My feeling is that the owner is thinking that Persians are a wealthy community in the area so he can collect & charge as much as he wants.
So choose where you eat wisely and be nice to your wallet.
P.S. I read some of the reviews here and they show price per person paid $10-$20 or $20-$30(do they have family and friends pricing somewhere?!!) Just for a simple Koobideh with drink you are looking at $35 per person, not including any appetizer or Sabzi(which they charge $4.99 for it) add that and you'll be in $50 price range per person, so a family of 4 with tip will...
Read moreStopped in for lunch at this neighborhood area restaurant. Saw online that Greek Salad was on the menu, and I was hoping it would be wonderful. Unfortunately it was not. The Greens were fresh and lovely. But no Greek salad dressing! Only balsamic vinaigrette. Feta cheese very skimpy and dry. Parmesan cheese added. Odd. A half salad was $10. But wait there’s more. I ordered a side skewer of lamb to go with it. The lamb arrived well after the salad. It was overcooked and dry. It had no flavor but this odd looking orange colored “jus”on top. And on top of that, a single lunch skewer of lamb cost $25!!! I didn’t ask the price in advance, so shame on me. But seriously. With tax and tip I paid almost $50 FOR LUNCH and only had water to drink. This is NOT a classic Mediterranean restaurant as stated on their sign. It is a very high priced Iranian restaurant with a wannabe atmosphere but “meh” food that does not warrant the out of sight prices.
Additional Note: I just asked two of my Persian friends about this restaurant. They said they the same thing!!! Ridiculously overpriced. ...
