So I arrive at Wings And More to pay for my food that I called in and ordered and waited inside, thereās like 5 latinos working there in that predominately BLACK neighborhood, 2 in the back cooking, and 3 in the front handling orders, so this black older gentleman walks in to pick up his order he placed when he called in, he looked like he was in his 50s, so he goes to register and the young latina chick who looks (16 to 19) steps up to the register and he says hello how are you doing Iām here to pick up my order, so then she asks what was the order, and he tells her what he ordered. She then finds the order on her screen and tells him the cost, so then i am watching the interaction, because they sell pork chop baskets , link baskets etc., these are our type of food places that service us in majority black neighborhoods where we spend our hard earned money. So then he takes out his cash to pay for the food then he looks up and says "hello how are you doing tonight" and she just looked at him and said nothing back, so then he was like wth, then was like "oh no cancel this order i donāt want it " so Iām watching and thinking to myself Ā whatās wrong with her you're supposed to speak to the customer. So then he walks out like hell naw and I noticed there is a latino guy who looks like heās under 21 at the register next to her and an older latina woman that looks like sheās in her 40s who was asking the younger coworker who was being rude to the black gentleman Ā what happened whatās wrong? And i walk over to the window between both the older woman and the younger woman who was rude and say " he was just speaking to you, he was saying hello greeting you, and the young latina chick looked at me was like Ā " i know, i donāt care" ....I said damn, and said to the older woman the man was just saying hello, this is customer service that you are giving to these people coming to the business, and the older woman seem like she understood that but had the look of oh well. I will never visit this restaurant again, that community is a black community and your business would not be thriving if the people of that neighborhood did not daily and regularly do business with you. If you donāt care enough to hire people who respect American Black people whoās money spends like everyone else then the worker or workerās do not need to be there. I hope other people of the community take notice to this type of treatment and spend your money elsewhere, I guarantee you they would not handle their own latino people this way. This would never happen at Chick Fil A and go unchecked by management. Do not accept any type of treatment, remember businesses are in business because of customers not the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is for my visit on the evening of March 29, 2022. I am compelled to do this late review because to this day, I am still left feeling disrespected.
I arrived at this restaurant around 9:35pm, they close at 10. There were several people ordering ahead of me and a couple of people in line behind me. Quickly, I made it to the counter to order, I ordered fried fish and wings, bringing my total to $50 and some change. I was handed a buzzer so I decided to wait for my food in my car.
Around 9:55, I noticed the parking lot clearing out, no one else around waiting for their food, which means the people ahead of me, AND behind me, received their orders. I look in the store and I see an employee mopping. My buzzer had not buzzed once. So I went into the store and asked politely if my order was forgotten. The lady at the counter quickly and without hesitation told me no. So, I decided to sit inside of the restaurant to wait, thinking that it could NOT possibly be much longer. I was wrong. I did not receive my order until 25 min later after they closed, 10:25pm. The owner even came out and looked me right in my face without saying a word or even a nod of his head, and turned right around to go back into the kitchen. I was not offered an apology, a can soda, not even a piece of their cake, no nothing for my inconvenience.
What I wished for more was to have my lost time for this unacceptable wait time ACKNOWLEDGED, but instead I was disregarded as though I did not matter, or my money and business were not needed. The food was wonderfully fresh (how couldn't it be knowing the fact that my order was FORGOTTEN and recently cooked) however, the way this situation was handled left a bitter taste in my mouth and I will not be returning. Because of the disregard I received, I'm sure the owner could care less. Good customer service is EVERYTHING, I don't care how good the food is. I am a respectful person, and I demand and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm never the person to usually write reviews for restaurants, but this is definitely an exception. The first time visiting this restaurant I was not pleased with the customer service, but once I received the food I bypassed the fact of this place providing great customer service. Long story short, after that visit I decided to go back every week with sometimes my order being slightly wrong, but again I can live with minor mistakes and not complain. This past weekend I decided to order 3- 2 piece fish in which i recalled to the young lady the specifics of 2 of the baskets and 1 other which was different. once the order came out it was 2-3 piece fish baskets, so of course I let them know it was wrong and although she had it written down originally for my order she scratched it out and charged me for the wrong thing. So instead of taking responsibility of their mistake it was stated that I would have to pay the difference for them to remake EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE. So as I was getting no solution I asked for a manager and the manager (who speaks little to no english) decided she wanted to write a number and combat with me on the situation even though their employee messed up. There was no solution and she refused to correct their mistake, i'm extremely disappointed and as a loyal customer I will NEVER return. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, EXTREMELY RUDE AND...
