ZAAP Kitchen on Lovers is hands down one of my favorite spots — the food is consistently incredible and the service is just as amazing. This location is particularly cute with murals paying homage to the neighborhood and the owner’s culture. Every time I visit, I’m blown away by how flavorful and fresh everything is. The Laoatian Fried Rice and the curries are absolute standouts — bold, delicious, and perfectly seasoned every single time.

What really makes this location special, though, is Alexis. She is such a gem! Always so welcoming, warm, and genuinely kind. She makes you feel like an old friend the moment you walk through the door. Her energy and hospitality take the whole experience to the next level. Omg the food was amazing the owner was very informational and so nice!! She made us feel at home even though we were 2 hours hours away from our family. We had the beef Laab salad which was perfect balanced spicy and savory taste. We also had the Pineapple fried rice and two soups one was Thai coconut soup and other was red curry soup with vermicelli noodles. Everything was on point.
