Inwood Tavern — Restaurant in Dallas

This was a place I visited WEEKLY and loved. Brought all of my friends. Did karaoke every Tuesday. Never had one issue. Apparently one night my friends got into a problem with security now CHASE at the front door has a problem with me. All over a misunderstanding I wasn’t even involved in. I’m just guilty by association. Anyways, this 6 ft tall man thinks that it is necessary to put his hands on a woman who isn’t even 5 feet tall in heels while he was kicking me out for something I’ve never done before. He decided he was going to aggressively push me and put his hands on me in front of everyone and I know he looked like a fool, thinking that he needed to handle someone as small as me the way that he did especially when there was absolutely no confrontation argument or disagreement taking place. He uses steroids, and his head is twice as big as he thinks his muscles are he’s a and because of him he doesn’t deserve any kind of business in that not to mention it’s raggedy as hell so the audacity to kick out a good paying loyal customer is beyond me especially one who’s never caused an issue with anybody. Aggressive security guard that will put their hands on you Last night I went to come in and This extremely aggressive security guard told me that I couldn’t come in because I was too intoxicated Which is not true if I was intoxicated, I would be slurring my words and stumbling everywhere when I asked to speak to the manager he said that he was the manager He then proceeded to push me on the floor and he told me that I’m not welcome back at this bar ever again He was so aggressive with me other people saw it and came outside to check on me to make sure that I’m OK you can tell this man beats women also seen others with the same incident on the reviews to this place, I had my hair and make up done and a beautiful white dress and was literally pushed to the floor I thought that Texas people were supposed to have southern hospitality. I had a very unpleasant and demeaning experience here last night only from one person (everyone else was great). The bouncer in the picture was extremely discriminatory, judgmental, and down right aggressive to two female patrons. He made false accusations against my friend and I, and when we presented him with physical proof that his accusations were highly inaccurate, he did not apologize but instead put his hands on us and tried to usher us out the door. We were verbally and physically threatened and had to tell him to not put his hands on us. As two women we were put in a very vulnerable position. When we tried to get his full name and his job title at this establishment so we could speak to the manager regarding his behavior, he refused to provide any information. This is why I took this picture of him so he can be identified. We are visiting from out of town but will be getting in touch with our attorneys to pursue legal ramifications. Ladies beware!
