CONSIGNER BEWARE (Edited to respond to seller's response at the end of this review) Do not consign with this seller, they do not take good care of your items! We attempted to consign a dining room table with Area 25. Upon retrieving the table after they cut short our contracted consignment period, we were horrified to find deep scratches on the table top and that the varnish was ruined on both of the leaves because they had been stored in a storage room with no air conditioning and had melted together. Our table will now need to be completely refinished. I suspect they wanted to get rid of the table quickly because of how badly they had damaged it. When we confronted the store with the damage they told us that it would cost “more to fix the table than it is worth” and they refused to take any responsibility for destroying our table. If you are looking to consign, don’t risk it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!

Area 25 would not have accepted our furniture for consignment if it had been in poor condition. The table leaves were clean and in excellent condition when dropped off. Read moreBuyer beware of fraud brand labeling and inflated pricing - Area 25 list the bed as a Bernhardt brand when in fact it’s not. Just check out the pictures of the exact same bed. When I asked can I say the Bernhardt label on the furniture, they looked puzzled in a “I gotcha” moment. I posted a pic of Area 25 photo and pricing that they had the bed tagged. This bed is posted on several sites as Coaster Furniture if you know Bernhardt that bed didn’t have the heavy feel of a Bernhardt, but yet Area 25 seems to think customers are ignorant to know the difference. Please don’t shop where the owners lie about their products. Plus, they were constantly complaining in store that all “the help” quit and there’s no one to deliver the furniture. But if you heard how condescending they are to the delivery help, it’s no wonder the store is no longer opened on Saturday’s and the store opening schedule is not stable. They don’t treat their workers well. Paige stated she pays the workers really well as if they should not be treated with respect because of the higher pay.

Read moreBeautiful store, items look brand new. Paige was great at offering assistance, until my mom fell in the store. There's an extension cord going across the floor, taped down but still has a small hump over it. My mom walked across the taped cord but unfortunately her shoe was caught on the taped cord and she fell on her knee which was really painful. Paige was at the counter on the phone but another employee, a guy came and offered assistance, brought ice and was very helpful, even helped her up. The problem we had was when Paige finally came over, apologized and here's the kicker, she said and I quote, " we've been here over 30 years and you are the first person who's ever fell in our store" that was not the right thing to say nor was it the right time.
