I have done business with this restaurant across the dfw metroplex for 10 plus years. The food is typically great quality pies as in any business mistakes are made no problem they have always done a exceptional job rectifying matters. There were many times that solving the mistakes weren't up to par however I continued to be what II thought was a valued customer until this week. I typically carry out so I can ensure my order is correct. Well I recently was placed physically unable to go get my order, so I had it delivered. Upon arrival it was absolutely wrong not my pie. Disappointed I called smoke with management and was told they would credit me apie. I went to redeem it today was told OK it would be ready in 15m upon arrive I'm berated for payment after pizza is made and then told I was a liar and a problem that it seems sketchy that I have a mess up or request a free pie. Completely Baffled at the strong and distasteful comment towards my character Mention my many years as strong loyalty customer. I'm told there is nothing else to say or do pay for the pizza and that's it. It's not full price and my loyalty discount was removed too. So pay for a pizza that not mine to delivered returning home from the hospital, be told I have a credit, to then go and redeem it be told ok. Then when I get there I'm to blame for my messed up order. Everytime it was messed up it's my fault. I never expected to be diminished as a very regular 4× plus a week customer to now I'm flatout lieing, and sketchy. The absurdity to even speak that. Im beyond upset. Its disheartening to have the ownership/ leadership of a restaurant you greatly supported choose a path of no reconciliation. Poor customer service. They accept no wrong doings on their end including the messed up pizza. The pizza that I ordered for the replacement was not only not a wasted pizza and a relationshipdivide it was throw away in the trash by management. Please don't expect accountability to be taken if your order is wrong. They will literally look you in the face and blame you the customer. Because I cooked the pizza right NO. I've contacted the BBB aswell to report a few other discrepancies that go...
Read moreVery disappointed today.
I have ordered countless meals from Zio's through the crisis of 2020 - they make good food for a decent price. Whenever I don't order for a few days, Zio's sends me a bunch of emails begging for me to order something. Obviously they know I'm reliable money. There have been issues, but they have been glad to take care of them when they happen.
I always order through Google Maps and drivers will bring the food, including Zio's personnel - they know my location pretty well at this point.
My order today was missing the piece of cheesecake I bought.
I called and let the store know. Something was forgotten on a previous order and they made it right. Today I was told there's nothing they can do about it. The front clerk remembers handing the cheesecake to the driver but said the driver is from Slice and the store's hands are tied as a result.
I believe 100% that the front desk handed out the cheesecake, but I still don't have it. I want the cheesecake, I would come get it if I had to, Zio's is right down the street. But I was argued with and the only option I was given was the offer of a discount or free cake on the next order, and this was only offered after laying out how a $10 piece of cake is not worth losing a steadfast customer.
There's not going to be another order now. Fighting over a $10 piece of cheesecake (which is quite a profit margin by the way for what it is). As a former store manager, I know this is something that should have been easily defused but the person on the phone wouldn't listen. Out of the many orders I've placed, if one $10 slice of cake is worth that trade, then I guess I've learned...
Read moreI placed an order after work this past week for 2 pizzas. Drove in rush hour to pick them up. Got to the Preston location in Plano and turns out the order was somehow placed for the Preston in Dallas. The man working the counter offered no help or guidance and told me I would just need to call the other store that has the pizzas. He then walked in the back and did not come out the rest of my time there. I called the other store for guidance and told me I'd have to just come get the pizzas. I live 40 minutes north of Plano/Frisco and explained that I could not drive another hour out of my way to go to their location. I asked if there was no way the store I was at could just make me the pizzas I already paid for and he said there was nothing he could do. After a bit more conversation he told me he'd call me back. I left the Plano/Frisco store and started home on the tollway and received a callback from the store about 10-15 minutes down the way. He asked me if I had already placed another order with other location. I said absolutely not, I was not paying $80 for 2 pizzas. He then said he still has my pizzas under a heat lamp for me. I told him again that I am driving home and that was not an option. He then said he'd see if maybe he could call the other store and talk them into refunding me if I placed another order with them. Again, I said there is no way I'm putting a down payment on 2 pizzas. Especially without the guarantee of getting my money back. He then said he'd call me back again after that conversation and obviously upon leaving this review he's yet to call me back. This happened on Tuesday of this week and it's not Saturday... horrible...
