Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Dalton

My family and I called to get pricing to see if we had enough in our budget to eat there, the person who answered the phone (didn’t give a name) told me pricing but that their drink machine was down and we couldn’t get water. I asked if we could bring our own drinks and she said that would be fine (which I later found out it was not) when I arrived they gave me a different price which was $10 over what I was told old on the phone. I told them the story of the phone call which they asked who I spoke to. They told me there was nothing they could do. During that conversation I overheard the “manager talking on the phone giving a discount to a different group. I asked her when she ended the call how she could give them a discount but not stand by what I was told over the phone. ( keep in mind there was a line of people behind me ) the manager was very rude and so was her other employee that was wear a USMC government issued PT sweat top. They continued to talk down and rude to me I ask for her boss’s number and her name she then gave me a business card with the owners phone number on it. I stepped outside to call him. I explained that to him the conversation he told me that he was going yo call her then call me back. When he called me back he honored the price I was originally told over the phone he was very nice and respectful. When my family and I went back in to eat the manager walked back up there to ring up my order the way the owner told her to. She didn’t great us as we walked in didn’t even bother to look me in the eye. After we payed for our order (I can’t prove that she did) there was a security officer that was just about staring and my family and myself the entire time we were eating and they kept gesturing in our location. We ate our food which was delicious, then we stacked our plates and bowls and separated the silverware (I use to work in a restaurant so we always try yo clean up after our family) The owner was a very nice man and I really appreciate you taking care of my family today, and I really appreciate what you did for us today. The manager was so rude to my family and I do not appreciate the way she treated us. The reason I gave a 4 star was purely on the treatment of the owner of this...

The last several times we've been in to eat, the pizza bar is mostly empty and they haven't kept the food up and fresh like they use to. It's seems like they just don't care about the customers or the service they give anymore!

4/1/2022 Update: We have been a few times in the last month and the food bar is always full and the service has been great. They have really improved since my last review was posted.

7/20/2022 Went in this evening for dinner with our youngest son and our grandbabies. The food was pretty good overall and the service was good too. The cleanup guy could use some tips and manners though. My husband had taken the kids to play some games while I finished eating. I stacked everything that was ready to be taken from our table and place it on the opposite end from where I was sitting (keep in mind, we were at one of the longer tables)....he drags it all back to the end where I'm setting and still eating to pick it up from the table and even takes plates that we are not done with! I question him about this and all he says is "yes I took them" and then walks off. I felt that was very rude and unprofessional. He definitely needs more training...

Went to Cici's after church with the kids. The little girl at the register did well and was nice. The other employees behind the counter were tolerable. Weren't rude, but not friendly. More just Blah. The variety on bar wasn't much that day. 2 pizzas of the same (buffalo chicken) type, as well as, other items being the same. They have a sign that says to request something that you don't see on the bar for them to put on the bar. So when you request something, you can only add 3 toppings. Was much better when you could add all that you wanted. I do a bit of a work around and order with them and then add things from the salad bar that I may want on it. Not cooked, but with the jalapenos, it's okay...mushrooms, cheese, and onions...not quite so much. I believe they need to go back to their previous special order policies. They updated their arcade/gaming area...and definitely is better. The actual flavor of the food is okay. Not the best pizza, but not the worst....it's Cici's!. Not bad all in all for a pizza buffet, but definitely room for quite a bit of improvement. They do offer a...
