Cook Out — Restaurant in Dalton

There are many positive things I could say about this cookout. I'll go with the basics: We always order the tray meals. My husband gets the BBQ sandwich tray, no slaw, hush puppies, and fries or double puppies, he'll order sweet tea unless he wants a shake which he'll get the Snickers milkshake..the shake never disappoints. It's like they add an entire snickers bar 🤣 it's really good. When they add slaw after we asked for none, It's rare but it happens, he still eats the sandwich. He says it's no biggie he just prefers it without but it'll still be good with.... I order the chicken Quesadilla which comes with two, either double puppies or puppies with a 3rd quesadilla..my drink will be dr pepper or coke unless I get a shake which will then be the banana berry shake, strawberry banana shake, or Just a plain banana shake. All of these shakes are great. The fountain drinks are always perfect as well. . Regarding the quesadillas, a few years ago they introduced another kind of chicken quesadilla, it came with some kind of spicy stuff inside it. About 40% of the time I'll get a quesadilla that's extremely spicy I'll have to drink in between bites. There was one time I had one so spicy my eyes were watering. I had my husband take a bite, he was like 😬🔥 tf!? He insisted to let him take it back to fix it so I did. He came back with new ones that were still spicy but nowhere near as bad..... sometimes I'll get the regular one which won't be spicy even the slightest bit..and you also won't taste whatever the sauce is they put in the others..the regular ones won't come with sauce. Just cheese and chicken. So just watch for that. My kids are picky but when we go there they'll get the corn dog trays, or the chicken fingers trays. They love the cookies and creme shakes.

This is a great place if you're set on fast food at the time, hate spending $15+ per person on a shitty meal from another fast food restaurant if you're getting a large meal without worrying about the price..a large big mac meal at Mc Donald's is like $14? Right? We ate 2 tray meals with shakes and we added 2 more shakes to that. It was about $22 .. 🤷‍♀️ food was fresh,...

I used to never have a complaint about this place. Loved it. The price was very much affordable and the orders were always right. Since opening back up after the remodel, I've noticed a couple dollars price hike, which is a lot to those of us who struggle, and my order was messed up twice now. The management needs ro be replaced due to the fact that another employee wasn't allowed to come back and work under him when they reopened because the boy was unreliable and useless. I know this because the boy this concerned is my son and I seen the text the manager sent to another employee saying this. That was so far beyond unprofessional, it's not funny. Not only that but what he's considering unreliable is my son got vertigo. Lots of school was missed due to this, lots of appointments we went to to try to figure out the cause, which we never did, and just lots of frustration all together. As for my son being useless, they kept him on the grill. Not once did they ever move him around to learn any of the other jobs so his being useless would be management's fault, not my son's. Today when I went and ordered, I reminded the manager of NJ y messed up order from before. He recognized me as my son's mom and said that he didn't believe my order was really messed up. I challenged him and asked why and he laughed it off trying ro act like he was kidding and replaced our nuggets. So very unprofessional and this place truly needs a better manager over it than what it...

Update: 8-17@11:15pm A white gentleman with curly hair took my “complaint” and immediately corrected it in the best way possible after apologizing and then a shorter Hispanic lady handed me my corrected food. they were very kind when there was a small issue with my burger. They apologized and it seemed very sincere. Also, shoot out to whoever is preparing the food, I finally got more than 10 fries. This experience has made me change my rating from 3 to 5 stars.

Customer service is usually great, food tastes great. My only issue is every single time I come to this location and ask for double fries for my TWO sides that I pay for, they give me one serving. This time I tried to change it up ordering regular and Cajun thinking I’d get my servings but nope …. And I haven’t eaten any yet … but if I order fries and different side, I get the same portion of fries. I don’t understand.

Update : The previous review was from a year ago. It keeps getting worse with the fries. Today I ordered my usual and my side of fries was so small I said something this time, the girl said she was gonna get me more fries but instead got someone else to ask me what the issue is, I told him and he added fries to my container and said he put as much as he could stuff in there… I ordered a side of small fries as well that was half ass filled .. I don’t understand what the issue is and why they are being so stingy over the sides that I am...
