To start, the location of the shop is perfect. A nice part of town and next door to an open plaza with lots of outdoor seating! A perfect place for an afternoon sit-down visit.
The coffee itself was underwhelming. Very watered down, both hot and iced. Prices were high for what I got. The employees were nice but they didn’t appear to know the menu that well. I asked if they had a simple syrup, and after stumping two other employees it turned out they only had maple syrup. Which was fine—but would have been nice if the barista’s knew that in the first place.

The coffee always just tastes like milky water; there is no hint of coffee or whatever flavor you get.
I even tried with single shot, double shot and even triple shot. Both hot and iced!
The service is one of the worst aspects, somehow even worse than the coffee itself.
They have another location in the same city that is a LITTLE better (service) but the same problems across food quality.
I'd recommend checking out some other shops nearby, like Laguna Coffee just up the road.

Read moreI’ve been kinda expecting them to move for a while. While the plaza location was a great hole-in-the-wall to get them off the ground, this location is the much needed upgrade. Central, great seating and patio, and in a brand new building. I’m big on exposure and it gets the best sunlight for the morning hours and shade during the hot summer afternoons.
