My Ecuadorean hair dresser recommended this spot, and my first visit proved to be delicious and a good value. It's a small spot in a business district, and seems to be a clean, family run operation that can serve about 30 people at a time. My chicken Mole burrito was yummy: moist white meat wrapped in tortilla drenched in a delicious sweet and deeply satisfying mole. The rice and beans that came with looked kind of ordinary, but proved to be delicious and classic. The chips were fresh and crisp, and the salsa was home made, tasty. with a little spicy kick. And the chipotle sauce that I asked for was even better. The house margarita was fine, particularly in light of it's reasonable price of $6. I'm coming back!

Had the beef enchiladas. Nasty, nasty. First, I asked for ground beef with salsa roja. I got shredded beef instead, that was tough and poorly spiced. The side of rice and beans wasn't any better, the rice was flavorless and the beans were too liquid, like they were poured directly from a can into my dish. I ate a little less than a quarter of my food before throwing it out. The reason I didn't return it was because I got a to-go order, and was already back at work. I will not return to El Ranchero.

This may appear as a little hole in the wall from the outside but once you walk in, you will not be disappointed! Parking is a bit of a challenge but the hostess was kind enough to put some quarters on my tab, as I didn’t have any change & the meters only take coins! Stopped here for lunch & was very pleasantly surprised. Wait staff was great, food was very good & fresh. Will be back!

Food was gross...meat terrible, chorizo looking old and burnt like lunch leftovers....steak I asked for rare...they said they couldnt...and I couldn't even understand what else the waitress said because she didn't speak English really...no one has fresh food out in 5 minutes....old leftovers....the waitress never checked on us or refilled our drinks and there was NO one in there....save your money...go to a place that doesn't serve meat so boiled it looks green...a real cook can cook meat to temperature...she knew I didn't like it...because I didn't eat it....but still ask if i wanted a box...no thank you....slop house...then had to ask for our bill even...disgusting im sorry if I could give it a...

I am a regular and I tip at least 50% of what my bill cost. I am extremely disappointed because I went in there 2 times this week and today I was charged for the salsa verde which I get every time. I asked Olga why did she charge me, she told me because I ate all of it. Please know she gave me less than a quarter of the bottle and there was still some left when I was finished. I would have given her $5 tip she ended up getting only $3 which I should have only given $2. I think that is horrible customer service especially when I’m in there so often and tip generously. I will NOT be going back because I do not feel a good customer should be treated that way. She had an attitude when she told...
