Disappointed with McDonald's Online Order Experience
I recently had a disappointing experience with McDonald's when it comes to placing online orders. Despite ordering ahead and expecting a seamless process, I found myself waiting much longer than expected, especially compared to those who ordered directly at the drive-thru.
I placed my order online approximately 10 minutes before arriving at the restaurant, assuming that I would simply need to provide my order number and receive my food promptly. However, to my surprise, it seemed that all the customers who ordered directly at the drive-thru were being served ahead of me, even though I had placed my order earlier.
Upon reaching the drive-thru, I was faced with another frustrating wait. This was not an isolated incident, as it has happened to me on the last six occasions when I ordered online. Each time, I had to park my car in front and wait for nearly seven minutes before receiving my order. This time, to make matters worse, the fries were cold and seemed old.
As someone who values efficiency and convenience, these experiences have left me disappointed with McDonald's online ordering system. The purpose of ordering ahead is to save time and ensure a smoother transaction. However, it appears that the implementation at this particular location is flawed, leading to extended waiting times and subpar food quality.
I understand that restaurants can face challenges with managing both online orders and in-person customers. However, it is crucial for McDonald's to address this issue and provide a fair and efficient experience for all customers, regardless of their chosen ordering method.
I hope McDonald's takes note of these concerns and works towards improving their online order system, ensuring that customers who place orders ahead of time receive the prompt service they expect. Additionally, maintaining the quality of the food, particularly the fries, is essential to provide a satisfactory dining experience.
Despite these recent disappointments, I have enjoyed positive experiences at other McDonald's locations. I hope that this feedback serves as constructive criticism and helps McDonald's enhance their operations to deliver a better customer...
Read moreI come here all the time but recently The staff is rude. Mostly the later staff, because I usually head here after working 12 hours myself but I DK if you’re in customer service, you’re in customer service you know what I mean. The mobile app is nice. Sometimes it can glitch if you pre-order, it seems to work better when you order in the parking lot and then say that you’re there. Sometimes I’ll try to order on my way there and its 50-50 in giving u a drive thru code. Tonight especially it glitched, so I drove through once and when I got to the speaker the mobile app gave me a number and the guy kept telling me he couldn’t find it . Usually u get a 4 letter/number code but I said its giving me a long number and he said NO!! Drive around again!! Even though I did get the message that said to give the longer number to the worker. He wouldn’t listen and told me to drive around again. OK I avoided his window and went to the next window. The girl kept telling me to repeat myself and then as I spelled it out slowly and she got aggravated. My code Started with SB. So i said S as in Sam. B as in bob. Said it 3 times. So then I said S as in SAMMM, B as in BOY. She goes. Ugh you should have said that the first time and gave this “are u dumb “ sigh after she said that. Like really Are you serious! I freaking said it three times lol so I DK a lot of young people have been working there recently. I feel like the young people are rude and the older people who some of them don’t even speak English are super nice and even wish you a good night or a good day, but watch for these young ones 🙄😂 learn some manners from...
Read moreCame to this location on September 5th around 1:30am with my boyfriend. We placed a mobile order like usual. My boyfriend only drinks seltzer, but I placed an order for a sprite since there is no option for seltzer on the mobile app. When we got to the window to receive our food, this older hispanic man handed us the drinks. My boyfriend tried asking the employee if he could just switch the sprite for a seltzer since there’s no option for it online, but the employee just walked away. After handing us our bag of food, my boyfriend asked yet again only to be met with the employee aggressively yapping at him that we ordered a sprite. My boyfriend stayed calm the entire time, trying to explain that there is no option online, but the employee wasn’t having it. He even got a copy of our receipt and waved it in my boyfriends face. He then began to yell at us that we ordered a sprite and that’s what he gave us. He refused to listen to anything my boyfriend was saying, and kept yelling. That is when I finally yelled at the man that there is no seltzer option online and to just give us a damn seltzer. Honestly, how hard is it to just swap a...
