This was by far my WORST visit ever! Awful! The lady that took me and my cousin’s order at the register had an awful attitude and was just rude. I ordered an Oreo blizzard, but you could hardly tell for the fact that there was no Oreo’s! I asked about it, seeing if I could get some more and she insisted on charging me extra even though there was none there in the first place. My cousin offered to pay 89 cents for extra Oreos but when she brought my blizzard back, it looked exactly the same. I promise I’m not a Karen and I truly enjoy Dairy Queen and have never had this problem which is why today shocked me. After this, I asked her if she could just redo it she said pull to the parking space and they’d bring it out. Once they brought my second blizzard, it was even worse. This one had even less so i went in and asked if I could just have some more because there clearly hadn’t been anything more Oreos added. When I went in, some lady from the back with a short purple and black curly wig told me that she put 3 scoops with an attitude and said it’ll be another 89 cents if I want the regular amount of Oreos. I don’t know what was going on with the employees on shift today, but these 3 ladies and one men did not seem like they wanted to be...
Read moreAs much as I love Blizzards, sometimes it’s a hassle to go to this DQ. It’s nothing but kids working here, who act like they don’t even want to be here. In the drive-thru, they are constantly texting in their phones or playing, laughing and joking with their other “kid” coworkers. When you ask for a cupholder or top for your ice cream they get an attitude. They tell you to pull up to “Park 1” because somebody messed up your ice cream while mixing it (how hard is it to put flavors in a machine and push a button to mix ice cream?) and why do you have to pull over to “Park 1” when there is nobody in the drive-thru behind you? I can go to DQ two days in a row and order the exact same thing, i.e. a cookie dough blizzard, one day it will be nothing but chocolate ice cream (it will look like nothing but chocolate milk) and cookie dough pieces and the next day it’s vanilla ice cream (white ice cream) and cookie dough pieces. And since this is the only DQ in Danville, why is it not a DQ Grill location? Sell something else besides hot dogs and potato chips…oh and now BBQ...
Read moreThis was such a PLEASANT drive-thru experience. I went specifically to order the rotisserie chicken bites, because I have stomach issues, and that other chicken store's, cfa, grilled nuggets just leave you hungry and mad! So, I love these at DQ! I asked for honey mustard, they don't have it. These bites come with ranch. So when I got to the window, I asked for ketchup. To my surprise, they don't have ANY packaged items (sauces). She told me that ranch is really good with them. I just smiled and said that it sometimes hurts my stomach. Without a word, she quickly left the window and returned with a cup of ketchup she had fixed for me! Now, that use to just be the norm, but in this society, today, it's a big deal!!!! Not only was she so very pleasant, and friendly, and smiling, she went that extra step for me!!! I wish I had gotten her name! I hope someone who matters will read this! She's a blessing and a jewel, and you better appreciate her!!! She is a wonderful reflection on your...
