I didn’t know coffee could taste so smooth- I think my palate has been maybe a bit ruined by Seattle-based sprawl. Dry Stack was warm and welcoming with some hanging basket chairs and retail. Looks like they have a full commercial kitchen out back and I expect to see them revving up their lunch sandwich offerings over time. Currently their pastries and cookies are quite delectable. So the coffee- I spoke with the barista and we joked about Starbucks and what I like there but ultimately I got a white chocolate mocha and it just knocked the socks off anything Starbucks can spin out. I come back to the “smooth”, it was just done right like if hope from a local shop that cares about their quality. Wife got something more espresso based I forget the name but she liked it too- so 5/5 give them a try.

I went to Dry Stack today for the first time. The potato soup was rich, and the flavor was deep. I've never had potato soup that tasted that wonderful. The croissant was freshly made, fluffy, and a little sweet. It was perfectly paired with the chicken salad. And there was so much food, I have at least another meal or two left. The restaurant was clean, everything was spread out just right. And the employees were kind, calm, and available. Next time, I'll use some of the areas with comfy chairs and plan to stay a while! And they even have hanging wicker chairs!!

When I read that, they serve gluten-free biscuits, I had to check out this coffee shop while visiting family in the area.- I am so glad that I did. My husband and I both enjoyed the coffee, and he got a regular croissant, and I had the gluten-free biscuit. Both were great. They also have a few other gluten-free pastry items, but we went on our way out of town early Monday morning, so the biscuits were the only thing available at that time. I'm definitely ready to try other gluten-free items next visit.

Welcome to the best coffee shop in Central Kentucky, hands down. I've been a coffee shop tourist for about thirteen years now, and often do a lot of work from coffee shops, and this place is the best coffee shop I've been to. The ambiance is lovely, the people are great, and they have the best decaf Americano that I've ever had. They have a lovely bar which I think is also an important element for any coffee shop to have in building community as opposed to something like a Starbucks where you just grab your coffee and go.

They also roast all their beans in house, and the dedication and attention with which they treat their craft shines through in the coffee. The friendliness of their employees is also a huge selling point as I started just hanging out here to do work, and eventually became friends with the staff, and they're genuinely lovely people.

This place won me over. Give it a shot, you...

My fiance decided to take her little sister to this coffee shop this morning. Well my fiance got a coconut vanilla latte hot with oat milk and her little sister got a mocha iced coffee. Well my fiance asked for her drink sweeter than normal as she usually does. She got it and it wasn't as sweet as she normally gets it, and her little sisters drink was all wrong ended up being a hot mocha latte whatever. But the kicker was that when my fiance asked for suger the barista decided to come to her and fuss loudly "well I put 6 pumps in your coffee, if you want it sweeter than that your gonna have to tell us that from now on!" My fiance is a barista, she knows her drinks and she knows not to yell at customer when she messes up a drink, your staff should learn this too. We will never return to this coffee shop ever again. One bad experience...
