Huddle House — Restaurant in Danville

It was okay. They were very busy and a few friends of mine say they are always slow. We went there and they were full so we had our name listed for a seat and saw that there were no other names on the list. Was told to wait 15 mins and that they'd call us. Waited in the car for 20 mins and could see a couple of group coming in and getting seated. They're too busy and forget. Had to convince my husband to just go in and tell them it's been over 15 mins. We went in and took a long time before someone served us. There was a couple who complained about how long it took for them to get seated and instead of being professional and patient, this other server basically told them "Its not our fault, we're very busy" (in a very rude tone) which was a turn off for me tbh. I've worked as a server and host before and have encountered worse. She could've handled it better and not talked rudely about the customers when they decided they were walking away after not being served for 10 mins of waiting on the table. (Can't blame them). So far, it was the longest time we've been served food in a dine in. The food wasn't as good as I expected but it was okay. Waffle King is definitely better. Won't go back there unless we have no choice. I honestly don't mind waiting but that one server there is a turn off. They need to improve their approach to upset customers especially if they are always that slow and busy. TERRIBLE! First I asked for sweet tea and they were out. I was told some was going to be made. Then we all 6 ordered. The cooks weren't cooking so we asked if something was wrong with the grill. Nope! Our ticket was thrown in the trash. After it was dug out of trash they finally cooked. Everything was either cold or wrong or missing. No cheese on the fries, the other fries were cold, missing the side of grits and waffle, drinks were empty, STILL waiting on tea. No silverware was given so we had to wait on that. We asked for lemonade they brought water. Finally brought the sweet tea and it was so thin I could see through the glass, and the floating objects in the cup of "tea". We had enough we let them know we were sorry but we are leaving and they were nice and apologized and didn't charge us anything. Our waitress was new and the only waitress there. It wasn't her fault it was poor management and unorganized cooks. The waitress did her best for being new and...

This was terrible. Where to begin... first we were the only customers when we first got there and for a good 20 min. Second our waitress forgot everything. And kept saying she was tired. So we waited forever for all of our food to come together (even salad). We ordered 11 ounce ribeye meals. They said they only had 6 ounce. So we added shrimp. Our salads were supposed to come with veggies and cheese. We got a lettuce mix with cheese on it. No tomatoes ECT. They literally had the worst instant potatoes I have ever tasted. My gravy was cold also. Then I hear him say the chili was done in the microwave... And when she brought it to me it wasn't up to temp at all. And the fries were old in chili cheese fries.
