It bothered me going here. I treat people with respect and I tip well because I feel it's someone's living especially if I got it. I went in there on the 27th at 5:30 pm no one there took the time to allow me to place my order correctly I normally buy the same thing but I tried to order something new and I also was buying for six adults and three kids. After I had picked up my mothers call in order which was getting cold. I had an older guy that was rude, short because he was doing to much and I even gave the benefit of doubt because he was multi- tasking but when it my turn call for more help He didn't want to take my order because I was having difficulty with the menu, so I asked for the assistance from a younger girl between the two they cashed people out and placed several phone orders in my face i still received no help after fifteen minutes of this happening I left I guess I'll not go to one of my favorite restaurant anymore because of poor service if your service sucks it bring down the quality of your food. I won't recommend this restaurant to anyone else. Its sad sometimes you just have to be patient with a person it was a large order but a sufficient tip...
Read moreThis place used to be THE place to go in vermilion county for Mexican food. I've been going going for years. But recently things have changed.
We got there and had to leave. They want you to pay an extra 4-5% fee for using a credit card, pay extra for an additional basket of chips, and increase their price. Plus, the tips are expected for the server.

They sat us down closer to the kitchen, which we asked to be moved. They gave us small paper takeout menus. No waiter to offer us drinks or give us chips.
I understand the cost of living is higher now, but come on, you can't be greedy and have all these extra fees and increase your price - then the service is lacking.
I can't imagine what other fees are hidden. There are plenty of other Mexican restaurants nearby that are equally good and have better service without...

They have food for everyone including a rather extensive vegetarian offering. The food is great, the staff is alwats friendly and observent, the prices recently had several increases at the time of this review but it's still nothing to rule out just because of price.
This particular location received all new tables and chairs recently that rely on the floor to be level, but sadly it's far from that. They are also bigger than before making it difficult to navigate the dining room floor. Also, not sure if it's been our luck but we've notice several instances of dried food stuck to our supposedly clean silverware. All the inconveniences in this paragraph only (and barely) justifies the loss of 1...
