McDonald's — Restaurant in Danville

This has to be the worst McDonald’s in the city. Managers continually lock the doors preventing customers from entering or leaving. I understand getting busy but locking customers in or out isn’t the answer. I have also witnessed management get into many verbal altercations with customers who were angry at the lack of service. I have also personally been talked down towards just for asking for extra dipping sauce for my child’s nuggets. My youngest son is disabled and for some reason loves McDonald’s chicken nuggets. I always get him a 20 piece which only comes with 3 sauces. So I ask for more and get my head bitten off. No one should have to stand in line waiting for someone to come to the front cash register or waiting for food for 30 plus minutes for so called fast food nor be disrespected and locked in the facility. This is a huge fire hazard and I am pretty sure against the law. Considering the new casino is right down the road; you would think McDonald’s would want the business but clearly this location does not! Food is very inconsistent. Nuggets are either burnt or undercooked. Burgers are either red or extremely dry. Fries the majority of the time are undercooked and look like flimsy wet noodles. Kiosk in this location are hit and miss on if they even work and you never get a printout receipt anymore. I don’t understand how this location even passes inspection because it’s...

I cannot express how awesome the two girls at the drive-thru McDonald's in Ballou Park Danville Virginia how awesome they are. Not only do they put a smile on me and my kids faces but they make our experience worthwhile just to go in the Drive-Thru. Today I forgot to ask for ranch and cannot eat my double cheeseburger without it as I pull into the park to eat my burger which I thought I would have to eat without my ranch I look into the bag and there is the ranch. All the ladies that work the drive-thru window at lunch at Ballou Park are by far my favorite crew members out of any restaurant I thoroughly enjoy them and appreciate their awesomeness today is June the 18th 2021 and it is 1:00 thank you ladies for your awesome service. Worst drive through experience ive ever had went there last night at 11:46 with my boyfriend ordered a bigmac meal with extra mac sauce and a sweet tea my boyfriend had started to state his order the lady cut him off and said god damn and told him to pull around we got to the window he asked if his burgers were on there they said no we paid separately my boyfriend ordered 2 mcchickens and 2 mcdoubles they rung him up for 2 mcchickens and one mcdouble and the guy slammed the window in his face when he tried to correct it.
