The Melt — Restaurant in Danville

Five stars. I did have a problem with the order. I ordered a bbq bacon melt with no pickle on the side, sweet potato fries and a snickerdoodle shake. I got a classic meltburger with a pickle on the side; everything else was correct. When I brought the honest mistake to the person at the front's attention, they immediately said no problem, got me the correct burger in about 2 minutes, and let me also keep the incorrect burger.

This was probably the best customer service I've ever received. Sometimes when a vendor makes a mistake, they grumble and hesitantly give you the correct thing. I didn't feel this at all, in fact later after I had eaten they even came by and asked me which burger I liked better!

Both burgers were delicious, and surprisingly different. You'd think that an original burger vs a bbq bacon one wouldn't be that different, but on the regular one they put a different sauce and have jalapeño bits as well, so it was a completely different experience. I was very impressed. The sweet potato fries were good; crispy and salty. Personal preference I prefer thicker fries, but these were good. As for the snickerdoodle shake, I thought it was a bit on the expensive side at a little over $6, but it's an hour later and I can't stop thinking about it. It was so good, and worth every penny. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back!

4 months later; I've been back 5 or 6 times, and the 5 star rating continues to be well deserved! I normally get the original meltburger, sweet potato fries, and snickerdoodle shake. It's all ridiculously delicious. One thing I do wish is that there was a either smaller portion option for cheaper, or a combo deal. All the food is so good, and I want the burger, fries, and drink, but paying almost $22 is very expensive! I've downloaded the app, and in the app store there's a picture showing a combo to save money, however when I put in the 3 things, there is no combo. If that is store specific, why does this store not...

We had a friend visiting from Georgia that wanted a burger. My husband did a quick Google search to see who had the best burgers in the area and to Melt we went.

We were greeted with a nice man with a welcoming smile, eager to answer questions about the menu and suggestions. We ended up with a Swiss and mushroom burger and two melt burgers an order of garlic parm fries and an order of regular fries and a small Mac & Cheese for our little guy.

Yun yum yum is all is can say, this burger was full of flavor and cooked to perfection and the garlic fries were not overly garlicky. I did try thr mac and cheese and the cheese and pasta ratio was good. The consistency was good, not runny goopy cheese sauce but made with actual shredded cheese and my picky little guy ate every bit of it.

If I'm honest, I wish I had a melt burger right now.
