China Chef Restaurant — Restaurant in Daphne

The food is always fresh and tasty. I am extremely picky about where I will eat Chinese food from. The place is in a strip mall... strictly takeout. They'd no doubt double or triple their business if they added online ordering and delivery. We've ordered the Won Ton Soup, Fried Won Tons, Eggrolls, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Pork Fried Rice and Beef with Broccoli. The Beef with Broccoli was the only one I wouldn't order again... we've ordered the rest pretty much weekly since we discovered it. This week I am trying the Steamed Chicken and Vegetables from their "Diet Menu" as this is a style of Chinese food that is extremely easy on the digestion. Their family dinners are a great deal. They are the fastest restaurant I've ever ordered from. I've ordered here 3 times and each time it's ready in 5 min. Food is very good. I tried a new dish the other day. Singapore Noodles. I felt like the dish lacked enough meat and veggies. It was slightly dry and not spicy at all even though their menu said it was spicy. They might have forgotten the peppers. Idk.. I put soy sauce all over it and added garlic powder and it was really good after that. I think next time I will ask for extra curry sauce. China Chef is my go to choice for Chinese takeout. The General Tso's chicken is my favorite. Best of all, they are wicked fast at preparing the food for pickup. Last week I visited for the first time in about 6 months. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as delicious as usual. I noticed more dark meat in the chicken and a few extra ingredients added to dishes that I've never encountered before. I'm hoping that the recipe changes are temporary, perhaps a new cook that day?
