I went to the drive-through in Spanish Fort Alabama, I ordered “ The chicken, bacon, ranch, loaded fries” when I receive my order before pulling off, I looked inside the Styrofoam to go plate to make sure my order was correct (per standards of any other Zaxby’s) my order had little to no ranch on it. Which defeat the whole purpose of ordering. “The chicken bacon RANCH loaded fries” so I walked in with no attitude as nice as I could possibly ask because it was an inconvenience to the crew, I kindly ask the counter lady if she could put some ranch on it, she kindly said one second as she was about to hand it to the crew in the back, but she was quickly interrupted by a manager who rudely told her do not hand out to anyone in the back. (Which I totally understand cross-contamination) she was not even going to ask what was the issue? I had to simply ask her if she could look at my order as she did and stated “what is the problem” I said “if it is possible, can I please get more ranch” and return. She looked at me with an attitude and and said you (have) to buy a packet for extra ranch. And then I stated “hey, there is little to no ranch on here and I just want some ranch.” And with a attitude, she said no we cannot do that. (With horrible customer service & body language) then my last attempt I stated. “Whenever I stop through Daphne they always add ranch and this loaded fries have a little to nothing.”Her final smart remark she rolled her eyes, puckered her face and said “Well we are not Daphne.” at this point, I felt highly disrespected and unvalued as a customer so I made one remark, which was “Wow you have such a attitude and work at Zaxby’s.” then, as I was walking out, I told the counter lady “thank you so much again, Have a good day…” As I am eating it I am highly dissatisfied because it is super dry, and sort of upset that I have to do a review because I typically would never do this or any reviews in general but this must be discussed between her and the franchise owner this review will be posted on Google as well. I have my husband and two toddlers with me, so rather than carry out 4 separate cups of water, I figured it’d be easier to carry 2 large cups, and then split it when I got back to the car. Ya know, doing whatever makes life easier during toddlerhood! Well, the cashier charged me for 2 large drinks, when water is free. I asked her why I was charged for water, and she said because I asked for large cups. SMH. Really? I should have just handed them back to her and asked for 4 medium cups and a drink carrier to get my almost $6 back. She could have gone the extra mile to let me know the water wouldn’t be free when I initially asked for large cups. Read moreI really like zaxby's and the food here is normally good. I do not recommend this location due to the service specifically ordering curbside. If you order ahead just go inside. Everytime I order curbside I either wait for 30 minutes or have to go inside. Food may or may not be cold. Drive-thru during the day is a safe bet, but at night expect to wait around 30 minutes to an hour for food. Also if you go inside at night dont expect to be helped for about 10 minutes.
