Island Wing Company Grill & Bar - Daphne — Restaurant in Daphne

We have been wanting to try this place out since we saw it while at Lowe's last year. It is bigger on the inside than we thought and has more of a sports bar feel without the loudness. The server at the front asked if we wanted a table, booth or bar seating. Wow! Didn't realize it had a bar. Bonus! (If that's what you like). We sat at a booth. We had our own flat screen tv right on the table against the wall. I think it would be better if they were mounted on the wall. The huge napkin dispenser was in the way of seeing the screen, so I placed it on the bench next to me. I loved everything they offered on the menu, but since I am watching my calorie intake, I opted for the spicey garlic teriyaki wings, bone in, and they were soooooooo good! A little kick but so flavorful. My husband got the Carribean Shrimp over rice. Omg! That too was wonderful! Shout out to India, our server, what a sweet person. Very attentive and informative. Service is always great and friendly. The wife and I, typically sit at the bar, even though she does not drink, as we enjoy the comradery and conversations with fellow patrons and staff.

Food - always good, and reasonably priced! I always feel I am getting what I paid for. Wonderful drink specials throughout the week.

Service - Never a bad experience. Bartender(s) are always engaging, accurate and overall fun.

Atmosphere - except as mentioned below, it is good! I get the whole, hometown bar vibe, with an add on restaurant.

A couple of the times we have gone, there have been older kids playing in the bar area. I mean playing tag, shadow-boxing, etc., resulting in it being a little less enjoyable than normal.

I want to be clear, the kids were not AT THE BAR, but at the tables next to the bar, not over in the "restaurant side" of the establishment.

I feel for the staff, as I am sure their hands are completely tied in such a scenario.

Despite that, we live close by, and should really stop...

Went there tonight hoping to get the full island wing co experience and I was sorely disappointed. First off they were understaffed because one of the waitresses only felt like taking one table when she came to work our server had 8 and he was doing the best he could with what he had but of course things were missed we were served the chips from the bottom of the bag all the little pieces the fry's came out at the end of the meal and we're burnt we talked to the manager twice but she didn't want to do anything about anything our server was great but the rest of the staff was really lacking I don't know what was going on In the back but they need to tighten up we were also missing wings and the waitress that didn't wanna work was walking around saying she could do it all herself but didn't do anything and the manager really wasn't much help very unsatisfied and I just really don't think this place is worth all it's...
