Tonight I stopped in Malbis AL to pick up a pizza at Papa John’s. After I paid I noticed a lady folding boxes in the side door with the lid flaps on the floor. I asked the worker if she really thought that it was a good idea for the boxes to be on the floor and she said it was not a problem as only a small part of each box touching the floor.
I requested a refund from the cashier and a guy who said he was the manager asked if I had a problem. I explained that I wanted a refund as I felt the boxes were probably all dirty as the worker saw no problem with them being on the floor. He quickly explained to me that their floor was not dirty.
When they realized I was preparing my cell phone to take a photo of all the boxes on the floor there was a scuffle to get them picked up but not before I snapped a photo of one of the boxes they missed. I was refunded my money but never got an apology or indication that they thought it is wrong to stack the pizza boxes on the floor in the side doorway.
I’m sure that Papa John’s security camera will show this to be very accurate account of my visit to their Malbis store. I do not want a coupon, apology or anything else from them, I just want to let everyone in Baldwin County know what is going on there before they decide this is the type people they want handling their...
Read moreOrdered pizza several hours in advance and scheduled the delivery for 6pm because I had guests arriving from out of town. 6:10 came around and there was no food. Called the store the first time and waited on hold for a while before I hung up. Called back and someone finally answered. After looking up my order, she said the order hadn't even been made yet and that it hadn't even appeared on their list yet to be made. I will say that the employee was very polite and told me they were short staffed, so there's no complaint about the customer service. I cancelled the order and asked for a full refund. The problem is, if you're going to have the option to schedule pizza to be ordered in advance, you need to make sure the customer who placed the order in advance is served at their scheduled time. The order should be made before any live orders are placed to ensure it's delivered at the...
Read morewe ordered a pizza online, and when I got to the restaurant, went to the counter, and it was like I was invisible - 2 other customers and a doordash got service before I was even acknowledged. Finally, a female employee that had been on the sidewalk smoking, came inside and also ignored me (and didn't wash her hands, which is disturbing), so i called the resturant from their lobby and asked them if my pizza was ready. She got snippidy with me and said "why didn't you just ask me? If she hadn't been on the sidewalk, I would have, and if the employee she left behind the counter would have noticed that there was a customer STANDING IN FRONT OF THE COUNTER, I would have asked him also. I get that there's a labor shortage, and you have to hire who will work, but goodness gracious....that's bad. Pizza was ready the whole time, so of course it was cold when I...
