Past few months the customer service plus the food has been rediculous. Pull up to the speaker and takes forever for anyone to get on there to great me (no one in front of me) I pull up and of course staff is busy talking. That has happened numerous times over last few months. Today, same thing, I order and no response. I have to say “hello?” To get someone to reply back, she takes my order, dose not say anything, i say hello again and she repeats order and didn’t get the smoothie I ordered. Pull up, same thing, busy talking. I blow that off because I’m used to how people in the food industry do their customers. I grab my wrap out of the bag and Immediately could feel the paper SOAKED with sauce. I open it up, bread is all ripped and there is so much sauce you cannot enjoy it much less even hold it, not even a sandwich anymore, just wet tore up bread and chicken. Literally looks like someone poured a whole bottle on it. I asked for no lettuce and tomato and there was lettuce. This store needs to get their management and their cooks in order. I’m a former restaurant manager and nothing that sloppy should ever be handed out the window. As I always told my employees, if you wouldn’t eat it, don’t send it. I asked the manager if they check the food before they send it out and she said yes. She either didn’t care what mess she sent out or didn’t check it because this was the sloppiest “wrap” I have ever seen in my life. I’d expect something like this from McDonalds but not a tropical smoothie I paid $12 for 1 meal. Read moreI’ve always loved Tropical Smoothie- food is and has always been great, but their customer service isn’t what it used to be. The drive thru line always takes forever. I just left and they have some new contraption that is a card reader on a stick. They make you do your own transaction and select to tip or not. Meanwhile, I’m having to take my seatbelt off and lean out of my car to see this thing and the girl holding it can’t hold it still for me to complete the transaction. Not to mention, the girl working is speaking so quietly to the point I can hardly hear her. Doesn’t tell me how much I’m paying on the card reader on a stick and forget any directions.
EDIT. posted previous before beginning to eating food. Wrap is cold. Cheese isn’t even melted. Also didn’t give one of my sides. Definitely not even worth the money at this point. $22 for a smoothie and two wraps and they can’t even warm it up correctly or give two bags of chips. After years, I won’t be back. Waste of...
Read moreI was pretty pumped when I found out this place had not only smoothies but food too, I was doubly excited when I saw that they had a vegan option as well! Though that excitement was soon replaced with disappointment; after I placed my order I received my jerk 'chicken' bowl with nothing but lettuce and sauce, no problem, mistakes happen...after getting the second bowl I counted 12 black beans and just about the same amount of rice. And after explaining to the cashier what vegan was she told me what was in the apple slaw. She failed to mention there was HONEY in it, until after I tried to eat it. You guys PLEASE train your staff on what goes in your food. My friend was with me too and his wrap had weird soggy/blackish lettuce. Please don't use the excuse of it being busy because we were the ONLY ones in there. On the plus side I had the Avocolada smoothie and it was delightful.
