Most extensive Asian Fusion menu available in the extended area. For Darien and restaurants that touch the town line, this one’s hard to beat. I counted 24 seated people walk in before my party arrived and was ready to go somewhere else… but knew the food was good and called everyone to the restaurant. So I said “let’s roll with it…” - the large group sat so far away in a whole separate area and what I really love about this place is that I still had room to spread out and stretch my legs after a hard workout. No food wait, no wait staff issues the place handled everything like the restaurant boss they are. It is hard to get every thing perfect but this chill, unassuming establishment never...

Great experience. Happened along Darien Hunan Kitchen unexpectedly. So glade we did! Service was fast, friendly and accurate. We only got a couple of the lunch specials, but wow! I haven’t had egg rolls this tasty in years. Perfectly cooked, not greasy and with actual pieces of pork served with a small dish of duck sauce (no stingy packets or a tiny side). General Tso’s chicken was all white meat, not overly breaded and so tasty. Sesame Chicken, asked for some spice to zip it up, again - all white chicken meat …. Perfection! Now I’ll have to find reasons to go to Darien just to come back...

It is quality food for Hunan style, which in my limited experience is known for its bland qualities.

There was no "PAO" in my Kung Pao Shrimp and even the rice was tasteless.

But she had a tofu soup with vegetables that we both ate ourselves full on. The service lacked. It seemed that it was turn over all the tables and scrub beneath day, which left no one to help us. Not one person asked us, at any point if we needed anything (which we did but we just gave up) so we ate, paid, and left. We are super tippers, so 5% was a slap in the face for us,...
