Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in Dartmouth

Me n my husband n two kids(1&5) went there at 4pm. Me n my husband ordered our appitizers n the kids food at same time n they came out quick. The appitizer wasnt as good as i hoped (we usually eat in raynham). My husband n my entree took another 20-30minutes to come out... Both our fries were cold. he was supose to get the mac n cheese with bacon as gis side so they than brought that out which was cold also. He ordered the quesadilla burger n i got the brisket tacos. Mine was coooold i ate two bites and just gave it back. The manager was awsome he gave the kids meal and their ice cream for free n also took my meal off (which i did not eat and gave back from being so cold) they charged us for the mac n cheese which was supose to be my husbands side in the first place but took that off my bill. So we were verrry happy on how they worked with our bill because how unhappy we were with the meals . N we still tipped over $10. But the quailty of food was very poor.. there was not many ppl in there. And alll the food came out cold. I really was looking forward to my food n after waiting ovet 20-30minures i thought it would be hot but my whole plate was cold :/ Me n my husband both worked for tips so we still tipped good but i went home hungry since i only had an appetizer... They were all friendly and understanding. My kids were all over the place. The manager was friendly n understanding also. Just wish the food quailty was better n came out...

Always find Applebee's to be an excellent place to grab a bite. All the favorites with good music and great staff! Prices are a little higher than before, but in line with everywhere else, and they offer good budget options like the dinner for two. Check it out, it's a great deal! Hadn't been to the Dartmouth location in long while. Seated right away on a busy Friday night, drinks promptly, even water for the table. The food was good, but slightly underwhelming. Our chips on the combo appetizer platter were stale, but were replaced immediately. Rest of platter was good, although the chili sauce has changed, sigh. A burger ordered well-done arrived rare, but again, was quickly remedied, with even a fresh side of piping hot fries to enjoy. Our other entrees arrived as ordered. Menu includes some updates, too, keeping it fresh. I've got to say I was mortified to say something a second time about the food, didn't want to be "those people," but the staff couldn't have been nicer, and considerate, making us comfortable. I think we have all learned the pressures of service staff, being understaffed and waiting on the public, but it doesn't show here. Me and my family went there this past Saturday we had a family situation that was very sad and we wanted to go out and have a dinner and just kind of be upbeat find something that would help us feel better we did not experience that at Applebee's the food wasn't even the problem it wasn't that great but it wasn't uneatable the food was not even the problem when I tell you that the atmosphere in that place was Doom and gloom it was like literally if we were going to a mortuary there was no life in that place it was so depressing. The waitresses had no personality they honestly were like robots that didn't speak unless you had they had to they were rude on occasions and like I said just no personality and the whole atmosphere was so depressing there that we ended up leaving I will never ever go back there again with my family or anyone else so I wouldn't suggest anybody else does unless you want to just go somewhere where you can be depressed. I am almost 60 years old and I'm retired from the restaurant business myself and I have never in my life been in any restaurant where the atmosphere was so depressing and doom and gloom I don't know what's going on in that place but somebody needs to give...
