RUDE. I have been to this established atleast 40 times. My first bad experience was when ordering a onion burger, which comes with delicious carmelized onions and 2 lbs of garlic mayo. I enjoy the mayo but not to that extent. I always order it on the side. I called to place my order and spoke w/ lolly. I asked for an onion burger but with the mayo on the side. I picked up my food and get home to realize the mayo is on the burger. Normally no big deal I'd just scrap it off but on this burger I'd lose the onions n cheese. I go back to lollies n explain I wanted the mayo on the side. Lolly looks at me and says oh I thought u liked it so much you wanted extra so we gave you a side. I kindly explained that wasn't the case in which she replies "its okay my dog will eat it he's not picky" On another occasion it was a winter morning they had the door wide open evrryone had there coats on in the restaurant. Multiple parties complained about it being to cold. (We didnt) lolly the owner goes to the middle of the restuarant and yells 1 more degree guys when the temperature hits 70 we can shut the door the guys in the kitchen get hot. What a weird thing to say and really one degree? Felt like it was -5. TodayI went back to meet my dad. He ordered me chicken tenders and fries I arrive and the waitress asks if I'd like any sauce. I tell them Buffalo and blue cheese on the side. Food gets to the table n the tenders are drenched in hot sauce. No big deal right. The male owner(pony tail) comes over w the blue cheese and I explain I asked for the sauce on the side n I can't eat that much hotsauce (heartburn issue) he doesn't say a word he pinches his nose in between his eyes, angry sighs and walks away without saying a word. I'm told 3 minutes later my food is being remade. The son explains it was his fault and was extremly nice They bring me back the tenders and give me 3 skimpy tenders (def smallest in the bag) instead of the 4 they just messed up on. Pray they dont mess up your food because these cheapos wont be happy. I will not step foot in this establishment again and neither...
Read moreI like to eat local so i decided to give this place a shot. i drive by everyday and never had it. seemed nice. branding is cute. just never got around to it. this was my experience ordering pick up.
first thing, don’t believe the website prices. everything is much more in person. asked for a total over the phone was told one couldn’t be given. upon arriving my order was $25 for eggs benedict and a waffle 🧇 once realizing this seemed overpriced i thought i got charged for something extra so i asked the pricing and they proceeded to pick up the menu and look at the prices cause they didn’t know off hand. so me being me i just assumed i looked at an old menu and said ok fair enough no worries. a bit more money than i thought but hey it’s gotta be worth it right ? (turns out i was correct and on their actual website once i double checked after)
i was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt and hoped it would just be worth the money. only to arrive home to this as my $15 (not $10 like on the website) eggs benedict (see photos)
the eggs benedict was average at best. presentation left much to be desired. dry and bland. what hollandaise was on it saved it a bit but what doesn’t it save. portion size for the money was an insult. potatoes were not only a dinky portion size but legitimately unflavored and just hard and crispy. didn’t even seem like they attempted to add seasoning.
while the waffle was good cause it was covered in chocolate not worth $10 for a single waffle.
was not happy with my overall experience would not recommend with so many better values for money in the area.
also tipped about $2 to the pick up cashier. so $27 round trip for 1 eggs bene and 1 chocolate chip waffle. i wanted to like this place.
my critique. pick 1 of these. lower your prices to match your offering, increase your portion size to make it at least worth the price on a fullness scale, or increase your food quality, make it so i don’t feel bad spending my money. you can’t be...
Read moreI’m not one to post a review, but after my experience at this establishment I felt compelled. I heard Lolly had stepped away from daily operations and entrusted her son with the business. We are so quick to disparage the ostensible shortcomings of younger generations that we forget to extend a little grace. The work these young owners are doing to maintain and exceed the level of quality at Lolly’s is inspiring. They are doing their best to fulfill the expectations of their customer base. I wish every young person exhibited the same dedication, commitment and work ethic as these new owners have. I really appreciate the new menu items and was beyond pleased with my food and service. Looking forward to bringing my family with...
