Loukas’ House of Pizza — Restaurant in Dartmouth

We were anxious to try as we’ve always enjoyed Jimmy’s Pizza (same family) and assumed it would be the same. It wasn’t. I tried a steak and cheese and the girlfriend had a salad with chicken. It seems they’re using a different supplier or at least a lesser quality of meat. The steak was just not the same as Jimmy’s, no flavor. The chicken wasn’t white meat like Jimmy’s. More like gristly rib meat. Oh and the fries were mediocre as well. Very disappointing as we understand Jimmy’s is closing and we assumed this would be the obvious replacement but we won’t return.

We ordered 18 large pizzas (all different kinds, some standard and some custom) for a client to do a company lunch. I called at 10AM and placed the order with them to be ready for 12PM. When I arrived, they had everything packed up nicely for me, including additional sauces requested, plates, napkins, and cutlery.

I had a fantastic experience here! I initially visited because I heard it was similar to Jimmy’s, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was even better. The customer service was truly outstanding—whoever was working at the register was incredibly kind and welcoming. She had a warm, motherly presence that made the visit even more enjoyable.
