Metro Pizza and Sandwiches — Restaurant in Dartmouth

This place is terrible there are new owners and they are not clean people do not wear gloves or masks they are extremely rude and while they have kept most of the menu the same theyve made changes the food is very blah they do not season anything the same they put alot less meat in the subs which are smaller now there gyro meat has changed and does not taste good. I had to repeat my order three times to them when i got there my food was made wrong there was a line of customers that no ome was helping while just standing around. I asked for two cups of dressing amd the girl blanantly ignored me and left me stand there for another 5 minutes until a female driver i know from working there asked me why i wad waiting and she went and got it its only been a few months since i stopped working there and its changed so much for the worse new employes are not friendly and dont do there job correctly it's sadly gone from my favorite place to hating it......and in response to them saying me and my boyfriend were fired by the old owner is not true the new owners did not want me and my boyfriend there because we didnt know they were potential buyers we were told they were new workers and i had customers complaining to me that the one cooking there food had his mask on below his chin so i kept telling them both to put there masks on and my boyfriend asked one of them to put something on the grill because he was workin on grill and subs alone because they were standing there talking and again we thought they were being trained so he had him do something and they did not like that a couple of days later the old owner said the new owners didnt need us anymore with no notice at all. The people i work with now that use to go there for years have also stopped going because the food was terrible and also saw workers not wearing gloves and some not wearing masks properly. Horrible!! The whole experience ! First, I walk in and the menu board is off, the menu at the counter are available but no prices on it. The girl behind the counter didn’t seem like she wanted to be there at all, a hello or even a how can I help you would of been nice, no acknowledgement from her what so ever. I placed my order, She never gave me total just turned the credit card machine around for me to pay. We decided to eat inside, BIG MISTAKE, it was so dirty , from the dirty sticky floor that your shoes stick to, the table was dirty and sticky with no napkins in the dispenser or an offer to wipe down, there was a stack of c fold paper towels near the counter my guess is for guests to use. I don’t think they washed the floor in months and if they say they do the must reuse the water. Let’s not even talk about the restroom cause if you followed the dirty sticky floor and visited it first you wouldn’t of ordered. The food was nothing to write home about, it was nothing close to what this place used to be. My order was wrong and missing items, probably because the person taking my order wasn’t paying attention. Of course it was more bread than anything on the sandwich, over cooked and dry, grilled chicken was cold. I understand food costs and supply issues have resulted in smaller portions but that has nothing to do with the quality of your menu items, the cleanliness of your establishment and quite honestly customer service doesn’t cost a dime. I have since read your other reviews and you seem to place blame on the customer for your short comings. Take a step back and consider what is said to help you in the future. This place has lost our business, I understand that food prices have risen, but when you are charged accordingly the meal should be the same portion not half of a meal, and cold. I ordered Chicken, Broccoli, Alfredo.Couldn't get the garlic bread that comes with it because they didn't have it? They did give plain bread in it's place. The small container was not even half full. Then the Turkey Delight was not delightful at all, it was also half size, the wrap was wrapped over so much because of missing contents it wouldn't even be considered a child's portion. I called to let them know all our concerns and they could have cared less. I have a feeling this restaurant will not be in business long. Wish I had read the other reviews before ordering, would have gone somewhere else. Looks like we aren't the only ones that have noticed it is not what it used to be. Making dinner now, because still hungry, should have just made dinner and saved $25.00 for garbage 2 meals...
