In 39 years I maybe sent back 1 plate... Tonight was two, there were four of us, utensils were missing for half of the table, drinks made very inconsistently, pizza was very bland, menu was super generic with little character. Let's start at the appetizers. Potato skins are okay, We ordered boneless tenders they brought us out wings. I ordered fried clam strips they weren't cooked through they were lukewarm and mushy. Then I ordered a pizza to replace it, thinking who can mess this up. Crust was less than desirable and very little taste other than the pepperoni, it was listed as a hot honey with a drizzle there was none the ricotta was more of a cream cheese than anything. Another person got pasta, it wasn't cooked through sauce was ok though. Another got pizza as well just a cheese but little to no taste on the crust but the sauce was something to work off of. The the tenders had little to no flavor to the batter. So all said and done I sent the pizza back and my original plate, we had to get up and go find our server for the bill, we get it and it has both meals we sent back on it. I've probably never been so beside myself with customer service in another restaurant. Why would the server even let that fly. ... If that wasn't enough the ladies restroom was out of order... I'd give this place a minute to figure some things out before an outing there. I'll update after my next visit. Manager seemed very interested in what we had to say, so we will update after another visit if the service/food improves so will the review. Pull it together peeps, rikos was worlds better. This is disappointing.

Also weeks later no response from management and if you look at the other reviews that are positive is very Little to no context in them meaning they're probably friends of the owners and/or people that work there. All around poor customer service this is coming from another business owner right...

We used to frequent here when it was Riko’s so we thought we’d try their replacement. There were a variety of food options compared to the previous occupant’s menu of mainly pizza, however the pizza didn’t compare. My fiancé ordered the pepperoni and the size was a bit smaller and had some slices with no pepperoni on them but he said flavor was good. I got the clams casino which ended up being a flatbread instead of a classic cut pizza and it was quite a bit overdone, with the crust being more like a cracker and some of the clams were orange. When we first arrived, we waited about 5 minutes, a few staff members passed us and didn’t acknowledge us, only the manager who came over to help the girl at the pick up counter greeted us and then had to ask the girl to show us to a table. We were waited on fairly quickly once seated though, but before the waitress came over, she was arguing with another waitress in the middle of the dining room in front of other tables about how she was behind and asking if she wanted her to take our table or not because it should be hers; I understand having these conversations in private but not professional to do it in front of all your customers and make the other waitress feel bad. drinks and food came pretty quickly, but within 5 minutes of receiving our food the waitress dropped off the check at our table and said no rush, but didn’t ask if we needed or wanted anything else, didn’t ask about refills, and didn’t ask if we wanted dessert. We had only taken maybe 2 bites of our food and hearing no rush that quickly made us feel rushed 🙃 I know they’ve only been here a month so maybe we’ll try them again after they’ve worked out all the kinks, but so far but not super...

A great Sports Bar to watch the game and have an ice cold Draft beer or a cocktail. The menu has a great variety of appetizers and delicious entrees that are made to order. I enjoy the Fried Calamari, which has peppers and is cooked perfectly, never chewy. I also generally order the fried clam plate which has full bellied clams and is also cooked to perfection 😋👌The Tailgate Ribs are very satisfying. If you enjoy hamburgers, thin crust pizza and regular crust for the build-your-own pizza, they are also delicious. Other entrees that I have enjoyed include Swordfish, Steak Tips and various sandwiches. A side dish that I suggest for diners that enjoy brussel sprouts, are Tailgate's sauteed version 😋👌 I usually get a seat at the bar and am greeted by my favorite bartender, Kelsey. She is very attentive and makes a great cocktail. Tailgate has a very nice atmosphere with a huge bar and a wide parking lot.
