Bonbon’s Tacos — Restaurant in Davenport

I ordered a fry, and a steak burrito for Bonbon's needless to say I was quite unimpressed with the quality of the food served. The Fries themselves were fine, and I would probably have quite enjoyed them unseasoned. But the seasoning on them was a bad kind of interesting that I wouldnt want to put on any food. The Burrito was also not the greatest, the steak was very dry. Along with a very inconsistent spread of ingredients throughout the burrito. It seemed like mostly steak with some cheese sprinkled in. As for the size, it was actually very good for the price. As a California Burrito fan, this Burrito was even larger then theirs, just not as good.

The staff were really nice, I enjoyed talking to the girl at the window while ordering. They all did a good job in making me feel welcomed. The atmosphere was kinda mid. Just sitting in the parking lot for half an hour waiting on my food. Which youd think would indicate quality, but California Burritos and Moes can make burritos in minutes that are...

Jumping on the bandwagon way late, but, we tried Bonbon's Tacos last night for the 1st time. We all know I am SOOOO picky about everything, especially my mexican food. DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL. My big butt got 4 tacos and I wish I would have gotten 8. 🤣🤣 My daughter even ate all of hers with cilantro and onion, AND asked if we had an extra tortilla for the droppings, which she normally gives me. Girl at the window around 1030 was so patient with me, I was a little messy after the festival and fireworks. Told her it was my 1st time there and she told me exactly what to do with my little waiting box. The BEST meat I've ever tried in my lifeeee. Can't wait to try everything on the menu. Not me wanting to go back tonight...

I desperately wanted to like this local place. Sadly it fell short. FAR short. To start with the girl (with the colored hair and bull ring in her nose) at the window made me feel like I was massive inconvenience. Ordered tacos and wings. The taco shells were literally like leather the meat tasteless and the green salsa was mostly salt. The wings were small and very dry. The fries were mush and dripping with oil. My dog wouldn’t even eat the tacos. This saddens me because I really love supporting local restaurants. In this case I can’t recommend this...
