Redband delivering that espresso punch I love so much. On a free Saturday where I find myself up in the Quad Cities, my friend Cassey and I drop in for a quick cup of coffee before heading to a beerfest event. I needed something strong and I needed it an hour ago. Luckily Redband was on my radar and it was on the way to the event. If you’ve read any of my recent coffee posts, you know I love a good espresso with a solid punch to the mouth of bitter. So, I was delighted to see they had an americao on the menu. I ordered it iced like I usually do and Cassey got her usual breve. The barista disappeared to the back of the shop and started preparing our drinks. Walking in, you notice there is nowhere to sit and there is a sign on the wall that tells you that the waiting area has a maximum of 4 people and all items are ‘to go’. A very unusual arrangement considering there seemed to be a full-sized building for Redband next door… but the entrance to the parking lots were blocked off. It almost felt like this building was the roasting facility and the one next door is the proper coffeehouse but I forgot to ask whats up with that. Any who, the lady came back with our coffee and we made our exit. I took a sip a few steps outside the door and I was floored by the bitterness. It was strong. Stronger than was I was used to and I loved it. The level of bitter made it a slow drink, which is fine since I can down almost any drink in a minute or two if I am not conscious of trying to pace myself. There is another location and that one is located in a really cool, unique building. I really want to try it but don’t know how often I can pop into the Quad Cities just to try out coffeehouses but where there is an americano… there is my desire to go there.

I was kind of disappointed that this location is drive-thru only. Though, the menu items still won me over! I got a sausage and egg breakfast sandwich, and like others have said, they're to-die-for! The sausage patty, the melted cheese, and the bun 🥰 I don't even like bread. But, everything worked together so perfectly! It was also still piping hot when I got home! The Vanilla Latté was also really tasty! And, they gave my dog a treat since they don't have pup cups. We totally love this place! Will try other locations in the future!

Whenever I’m in Davenport for work I make sure to stop by Redband. I’ll even go out of my way for it. People always rave over how amazing their coffee is, which is true, but I’m solely here for this chorizo breakfast sandwich. A fried egg, gouda, and chorizo on a delicious bun? Sold, every single time.

I absolutely love their coffee. Their Indian monsoon is the best coffee I've ever had. The reason I give them a one-star review is because a friend of mine was banned from the premises. The person can be overly friendly sometimes and maybe misperceived. However the person was accused of making inappropriate comments which is completely false. People get offended too easily these days. That does not mean you ban the person from the store. The person still purchases their coffee from Red Band through a friend. I've drank their coffee and I love it! However there is no merit to the person being banned from...

Great coffee roasters, their coffee is one of the best I've tried. The fried egg sandwiches are to die for, especially the chorizo one. the pastries are ok, I think. The only negative thing I would say about them is that they don't have an actual cafe. They have two coffee shops but no place to sit and drink a good cup of coffee and enjoy one of their sandwiches or pastries or work on your laptop or simply have talk to someone. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE open a cafe, especially now that downtown Davenport doesn't have one, since Central Perk closed. Overall great coffee, excellent...
